This was parked at the road leading to Worli SeaFace near LoveGroove that is from where we take a left turn while returning from Haji Ali to Seaface.

Immaculate condition, no scratches, no cracked paint, and clean white. Spit polished chrome even. One part caring owner, one part rich owner, one pristine car. Even the interiors had all the original fitments, none missing. And not to forget, absolutely gorgeous. I actually gaped the first time I saw the car, and mumbled to myself "Gullwing" only to get closer and realise that it was a 190 SL. Before I get pounced upon by Merc types, sorry, admittedly ignorant about Mercedes.

hey dippy, it must be a 190SL. I geuss theres no 180SL.

Hey khanak

Sorry no gull-wings around in India. They anyways retail in the market these days for $250000 to a million, depending on condition and history.

BTW there is an Indian who owns a Gull-wing. Vijay Mallya owns a 300SL Gullwing in his American collection. And to add to that.. he also owns a 1931 Mercedes 500 K Type Speciale Roadster. One of only 5 surviving cars in the world.

i have spotted this car is frequently spotted in lonavala on the weekends...neat alloys and well kept...and if i am not wrong this car is stationed somewhere near reclamation in Bandra.
