Wait up for tomorrows pics, will show off the "ORIGINAL SWITCHES"

The difference in the pic was, chrome inserts for the window beadings, had these on the window rubbers sometime back, but had to remove since they were not fitting properly, but this time i certainly got the correct one's.

Why speedometer's chrome looks like rusted? All of your bus shining but it doesn't look good or it is just appearing like that in photo?

Nice bus to have and believe me it requires lots of courage and passion for maintaining such antiques.

There is no chrome in the speedo, Its the way it came, though there is a tiny spec of dirt inside the speedo console, i like to keep it that way.

Yes sid, Once i engage reverse the lights come on. This was not working before, but there is a reverse switch near the rear end of gearbox. If opened, cleaned and re-fitted . The reverse lights will work fine

Yes Amol, had lot of fun, the FCB guys hijacked me in my own bus last weekend. The drive was fun.

Will try something like what you've said.

I was thinking of putting a sunshade, but that will take too much time to design and lot of metal sheet work.

Let me try with some stickering this weekend.

PK, dont give up on the thought of a Sun Shade. That would make our bus even more gorgeous.

: PK, do you think the newer cars can sport a sun shade too? A few of my friends who own a i10 and dZire loved my sun shade on my S1 and are tempted to try on their new ones.

Presently nothing on cards for the Bus.

To the ire of my folks at home, i prefer lying low for a looooong time to come.

Since the Bus and the Variant are 100% done, i am keeping them in HIBERNATION for some time, no more show offs

Also, i will have ample time to concentrate on my Beetle.
