"FCCCI - Mumbai" Rally Mumbai to Thane, Sunday, March 9th, 2008

I understand that the Thane FCCCI want to meet up on this Sunday, March 9th, 2008 and would like the "FCCCI - Mumbai" Fiats to join in at Thane.

Thane meeting place is just after the Toll Naka at 8 am. (As being co-ordinated by CYRUS and DIGAMBER in the FCCCI thread) Thereafter we join in and comply with their schedule for the event.

Departure Mumbai meeting place: (Suggestion) - Just at the end of Dadar - Sion Flyover
(well before Priyadarshani signal) at 0725am. Once everyone arrives we take off for Thane ASAP.

One and All are invited for this great event.
Subhash - you are most welcome to jump into any one of our cars.
Karl, Kiran and the other Pune guys will be missed as they are out of town on Sunday.

Mumbai guys - Please put down your names to confirm your welcomed presence and if the departure meeting place suggested is OK?cheers:

DADI/RONY/ROHAN - Grandfather/Son/Grandson - How can we miss this event?
BEHRAM/CYRUS/DARIUS - Get all the FIATS you own. Let me know if you are short of Drivers?
GOGI - PECIAL please and '57 if it is ready to roll.
VARUN - That goes for you too - All the lovely FIATS you own please.
KAVESH - Please join the JING BANG with your CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG!
ADITYA - I'm sure you will be there to add to the FUN as you are "SUPER SELECTED".
FEROZE (KRISH UNCLE) - Welcome in your prize winning DODGE if FIAT is not ready.
RIYASP KOTHAVALA - We need the British Policeman to scare the S..T out of the rickshaws coming in the way of our FIATS.
JIMMY MARKER - A good chance to show off your '57 black beauty. And I'm sure you will enjoy it.
and..........I sincerely hope that this list gets longer and longer!

The LHD's alternator mounting bracket threads have slipped off. I have another one at home. I will be in Mumbai very late night today but I'll see if I can change the bracket. I'll try and get the LHD.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

The Mumbai to Thane Classic FIAT Rally was very enjoyable.
Details and photos are already posted in the earlier threads.

However, my special thanks to fellow BHPian and FCCCI - Thane member, Digamber, for taking us to his wonderful workshop and showing us around. We were impressed with the Classic and Vintage beauties being restored and others awaiting restoration.

All in all, it was a Sunday well spent and enjoyed!
