What a BEAUTIFUL colourclap: Can't wait to see the end result. Glued to this thread! Hats off for the wonderful restoration sir:thumbs up
Simply beautiful. I think this color is a close resemblance of Fiat 2012 Oceanic blue.
Allow me to post 2 more pictures of the Fabulos Job done on the Bug. These are from my Phone camera, still you can see the shine :D. I think they may not need any polishing.
In the Second picture you can see the owner of the booth / Workshop "Monish".

Looks like it is going to turn out to be a stunner of a Beetle. :thumbs up
Fantastic paint job and am looking forward to more pictures through the end of the restoration process. clap:
This is by far one of the best paint jobs i have come across till date, Kudos to the team of Pavan ji for doing such a marvelous job. clap:
Me too eagerly waiting for some updated pics, especially some outdoor pics.

Thanks a lot for the pics Manish. :)
Certainly, it does look, it might not even need polishing, But i am certainly doing a full fledged detailing of the paint from ULTIMATE DETAILERZ.
Dont want to leave anything pending on making this THE BEST SUPER Beetle in the country.

Great going Pavan. The car seems to be a stunner. My 20 cents for whatever they are worth, the headliner does not seem to be an original super beetle one, since you want to make this bug as original as possible it would be nice if you could fit an original headliner and not like original one. I have attached a picture for your reference on what the originals look like. Just a constructive feedback if that helps in any which way.

Thanks Sid, Yes, i would love to use it as they are available easily, But the only problem is, that material gets brittle very soon and tends to crack/tear in a short span of time. Please let me know from where u picked your roof lining material from and your review about it.:thumbs up
We have used it on one more Beetle that we did few months back, I understand it looks amazing, but this particular material too is very similar and is of HIGH quality.
Unpacked the engine today, but did not dare open out the packing covers.
Its so shiny that it can put a mirror to shame. Other parts came separately, will unpack them and most probably the engine should go into the engine room by tomorrow afternoon. :)
Engine mounted, the new Headers and Exhausts mounted, most of the fittings complete, Carpeting cut to size. Must say, the last 10 days since the restoration has been a back breaking excercise.
Most of the much needed fittings arriving right on time, thanx to my friend (Car owner) and my friend Pankaj ( Jalopy Shop) :)
Kadam Sir,
No updates for the past three days. What's happening?
Dying to know.
