Finally took the advice of fellow bhpian and met Sampath I had a problematic A/C condenser fan. He took his own time examining and tried various tweaks to the fan. Finally he concluded the motor is gone and it runs or switches off on its own. He ordered the fan from a nearby Maruti and had his guys replace the fan. Hassle free experience. He tried various options to have the cost minimal. (First he tried replacing only the fan, and then with motor and with shaft, which did the job). Got impressed with the way he progressed.

What I like:

• Old timer, very customer friendly, honest straight-forward dealing.
• Explains in detail the work he is performing.
• During the time I spent there, had a chance to interact with few of his regular customers, who mainly visit his garage for the trust factor.

What I don't like:

• The garage not tidy compared to authorised service centres.
• He was the first person to arrive and his staffs seems to be always late (he himself mentioned the same)

Pricing: Total cost including his service charge is 5K. Around 33% of what Maruti service centers mentioned (14K).

Speciality / USP: Honest and trust worthy. He definitely earned my trust in the first visit itself.
