I had a similar issue and when i took the car to the service center, they found that a small stone was stuck over there and was making the sound .
I guess it should not be something to be worried about.

Fiat cars are not designed for the masses. There is no point debating what is good or bad about them. These are pure breeds, you either love them or hate them. They manufacture everything themselves and don't plonk a borrowed engine or a borrowed anything. They do not strive to be value for money, economical to run, good resale value and such cliches. There is a reason they have existed for so long in this country with such a small market share. The reason is that it is a product for a true enthusiast. It's not a people mover with ugly looks and pathetic handling. Stop comparing!

I recently upgraded to Philips Xtreme Light bulbs of the same rating and the results are amazing. Totally worth it.some people suggested me to upgrade to 90w/100 but I found stock ratings are sufficient you just need to replace it with Philips

Re: Fiat Grande Punto : Test Drive & Review

I would be changing battery of my 3 year old (going to complete 3 years on 26th Jan.) GP 1.4 E-PK sometime from now.
No issues so far but as a precautionary measure

I would also upgraded to Philips Xtreme Light bulbs. Any suggestions on bulbs would be great.

I've been using osram night breaker plus since 2 years and its performance is very good so far.
I would even say that its equal to some 90/100s
