Other than steering where else does the Amaze outshine Elevate? Is insulation (from outside noise) better?
Well. Interesting question. I will list down the winners in each department.

1. Looks - Amaze
2. Interior functionality and quality - Elevate
3. Interior Space - Elevate
4. Build quality - Elevate
5. Engine - Elevate
6. Fuel Efficiency - Amaze
7. Quietness inside cabin - Amaze
8. Handling - Equal (Maybe amaze - haven't taken it on a hill yet. But elevate does have some high speed body roll)
9. Ride quality - Elevate
10. Stereo - Equal
11. Visibility from inside - Amaze
12. Ease of driving in traffic - Amaze
13. Rough road ride quality - Elevate
14. Steering feel - Amaze
15. Steering feedback - Elevate
16. Old people will like - Elevate
17. Young people will like - Elevate
18. 100% objective and practical people will like - Amaze
19. Gearbox (CVT only) - Equal/Amaze(?). Although I feel elevate has maybe 5% more rubber band effect. Could be wrong.
20. Better chauffeur driven car - Elevate if you are tall and/or heavy. Amaze in all other cases.

Leaving aside the SUV/sedan thing, I feel that Amaze is 85% of Elevate at 66% of the price of elevate. So definitely a better value for money buy.

Interesting that Amaze outshines the higher segment vehicle

One would have thought the upright SUV stance of Elevate would give better visibility.

You're welcome.
I think they looked at customer feedback from Elevate and decided to make the cabin quieter.

Well I am tall 6 feet 3 in. I feel the height of the windshield on elevate is short and also angled closer to vertical axis. The bonnet is long and very visible. So the bonnet at the bottom part of my vision and the short windshield (coupled with my height) limiting my top view are responsible for the lower visibility. But maybe it is much better for someone of say average height 5 feet 8 inches or so. The amaze windshield feels bigger and much more angled thus giving me a taller view and also a wider view on the corners. View on the sides and back is same for both elevate and amaze. Hope this clarifies.

Perfect explanation! Another query- many tall folks complain about the limited driver seat extension (pushback). What's your opinion as a + 6 footer?

The limited seat pushback is a classic honda thing. It is there in the City, the WRV, the amaze and the Elevate. Their seat rails on which the seats slide are always shorter. But I have no seating issues and find the seating comfortable on all of these. The elevate has a steeper incline on the footwell than the rest.
However, if you have a habit of fully extending your arms (wrong position) and then looking like Vin Diesel from Fast & the Furious then Honda is not for you (if you are in the top 10% percentile of males wrt height).

Re: 2024 Honda Amaze Review

I noticed the damage to my amaze top model headlamps. This may be due to projector lamps heating up extra in night drives. But such quality is not expected from Honda. Sent car 2 times to service center, but they are not ready to see or accept this clear damage to inside of headlamp. Has nybody else also noticed such damage?

Your query is unclear. Is there fogging inside the housing. Please share sharper image.

It's been in my car since day one, and in my case, it's on the outside, so nothing can be done about it. However, I haven't noticed any impact on the performance of the headlights. Ideally, I agree that it shouldn't be there.

The fogging is from inside. Looks like due to projector heated the acrylic and it has gotten damaged from inside. I have done some overnight long trips.
