For members who have booked the car, have you received any further communication from Skoda or your chosen dealership? I only received an email and a WhatsApp message with a transaction ID on the day of booking, but no communication since then.
I contacted the dealer, and they mentioned that they also do not have any further updates. Could anyone share if there has been any other communication since?

Affirm.
Apart from a transaction ID via WhatsApp, nothing else has been shared.
I met with sales representatives during the Kylaq Roadshow at Orion Mall in Bangalore. They informed me that my booking was the 19th in their records and that they anticipate deliveries commencing on January 27th. I have not received any further communication regarding the delivery schedule.
We booked one yesterday using the Skoda website and post that got a call from the local dealership. They didn't mention anything on the position in the queue but did mention that the deliveries will start on 27th January and we should get our vehicle delivered anytime after mid February.
Congrats! Are they accepting booking for Base classic? This is most VFM

Thanks! I do agree that the Base Classic is the most VFM, but we did not inquire about or try booking the Base Classic since we wanted an automatic variant.
We booked the Signature AT variant which is the starting AT variant.

I heard they are not taking any more bookings for the base variant at the introductory prices. They had a 10% quota from 33,333 bookings for the base variant and that's already gone.
You could still book it, I guess. But not at the introductory price.
Cheers.
Can we install Signature manual steering on the base variant? Steering mounted controls are a must for me and will influence my purchase decision.

My dealer does not have any new updates but I did get a call from Skoda yesterday confirming my variant details. I asked them about expected delivery timelines and they seem to be unsure too. Said it will only be clear after mid/end of Jan, and the dealers will get in touch.
Haven't been able to find a real-life image of the Lava Blue Skoda Kylaq even in the India tour!
Its a Metallic color hence the 9K extra for it however Skoda wants us to book without even a picture!
Does the Signature variant miss out on USB port in the frontas there seems to be one only on the Head Unit?
If as the PPS dealer says the accessory head unit is the one on the prestige then will they install the USB slots also, waiting to find
Also, found an article on this TSI engine that was engine of the Year, and it seems TSI as a range have won more than 7 awards

This caught my attention.
Would these cars now having a 'petrol' particulate filter cause issues in the same manner as the infamous DPF clogging issues faced by modern diesel owners on various models across various manufacturers?
I feel Kylaq is more around Magnite or Kiger segment. My friend got a chance to see the car in person (he owns a Sonet). He said the car did look smaller than his Sonet though the rear space was a bit better than Sonet.
If this the case, I feel Kylaq is definitely overpriced, especially Signature plus and Prestige
Smaller than Sonet? Heavens :Shockked: I should have checked it at Orion when I had a chance

I also tried the AR version that I found online. Compared with a Sonet that was parked in my basement parking. Sharing some images for reference. Looks a bit small.
P.S. AR's accuracy could be slightly here and there though.
Here is the link to the AR model of Kylaq:

The Kylaq has an additional wheelbase of 6.6 cm (66mm) compared to the Sonet, so it expectedly has a more spacious cabin than the latter.
I felt the car has similar (if not more) road presence than a Sonet, the Rear Seat is definitely better than the Kia.
