Most VFM seems Signature plus in AT trim. :D

As per the brochure, AT is not available in the base variant. It is only available from Signature variant onwards and I think Skoda might spring a pleasant surprise and price the Signature AT variant at 9.99, which in itself would be quite disrupting.

There is one more goofup I think. If you look closely, the button between left side ventilated seat button and hazard light button is not blank in the 3D visualiser. But in the photographs(you've attached), and in some of the demo cars we've seen, it's blank. Image below.

My bad as VFM tag cannot be given till full price-list is out.
So, Signature Plus trim is nicely spec'd for a predominant city car except the rear wipe and wash. Hope Skoda prices it well.

• The Kylaq needs to be priced at least ₹3 to ₹3.5 lakh lower than the 3XO AX5L to be considered value for money (VFM). (16.75 in Bglr)
• Mahindra has three times the dealer network compared to Skoda, rising future prospects in India and stronger resale value.
• Mahindra’s higher resale value could offset its slightly lower fuel efficiency.
• Skoda needs to address the AC performance issue to make ventilated seats effective, as users report they currently blow hot air.
• The powered seats in Skoda seem slow; manual seats are more reliable and could be a better option.

If priced competitively, the Signature Plus variant offers the best value for money.

I want Kylaq to be super well priced too, but 3 lakhs less than the AX5L is where MX3 slots in. I don't think Skoda can price the Prestige at MX3 levels. I believe, the Kylaq prestige at 3 lakhs less than AX7L would be be a great VFM car (at just above AX5's price range).

P.S. I do understand value for money is a subjective term, no offence intended.

Skoda Kylaq launched in India with a starting price of ₹7.89 lakhs that goes up to ₹14.40 lakhs (ex-showroom & introductory)

Skoda Kylaq trims and features :



The Kylaq line-up starts at Rs 7.89 lakh for the entry-level Classic trim, which comes with six airbags, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, electrically adjustable wing mirrors and all LED lights, among other features. There is no choice of an automatic gearbox with this variant.

The Kylaq Signature starts at Rs 9.59 lakh for the manual gearbox, and the Signature automatic costs Rs 10.59 lakh. It comes with features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, steering-mounted controls and rear AC vents.

The Kylaq Signature Plus starts at Rs 11.40 lakh for the manual, and the Signature automatic is priced at Rs 12.40 lakh. It has a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch virtual cockpit infotainment screen, climate control, a rearview camera and power-folding mirrors, among others.

The top-spec Kylaq Prestige is priced at Rs 13.35 lakh for the manual version and Rs 14.40 lakh for the automatic one with paddle shifters. It comes with a single-pane sunroof, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, automatic headlamps and wipers, LED foglamps with cornering function, LED projector headlamps and ambient lighting, besides other goodies.

Prices are out and its mouth watering!

I just received an email from Skoda to book Kylaq as I joined the kylaq club. However, when I try to login, it says booking open for non-member at 4pm. Bad handling by Skoda. Now I have to wait till 4 to book.

Did anyone book?

Facing same issue. I received both SMS and a WhatsApp message but when I tried to book, I got the same message. Do we need to pay the full booking amount instead of the discounted amount for Kylaq Club then?
