Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Around 90k for 5 alloys. But this is from their brochure. I'll connect with them in December when I get my Thar.

JTI=JeepTyresIndia? I am presuming these are rebranded chinese wheels, urge you to check their TUV/ JWL certification.

I will be downsizing from the 19s upon delivery most likely for Thar 3D alloys wrapped in H/T tyres.

Thanks I'll check.

If I am able to switch to green instead of black, I will do that as well. Copper Wheels with Green color look amazing.

And agreed. 3D Alloys have great design. They should be easily available in the market for cheap. That's a great option as well.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Did everyone who booked on the opening day, get a message/update? I have no updates and the booking portal has no update on the status or anything like that.

For my 2nd booking (the one done by dealer), I have same issue.
I did get email and SMS confirmation for that booking, but seems when M&M transferred booking details from some roxx specific portal to their usual portal, duplicate bookings which had same form of KYC doc attached to it as the original booking had, vanished just like that.
Dealer has asked me to wait for a week while M&M sorts it out.

I still see the booking active in the portal. Just that I have no update either on the portal or over email/sms

Booked first day, no update yet. I guess MyGoRa also stated he didn't have an update either. I did see a few messages on Insta and X stating the same. So my guess is, quite a few who booked the first day are still hanging in the balance.

What is your booking reference number, my theory says,
  • if its B-999*, you should be getting something very soon (unless its Mocha, then also you'll be in initial batches of Mocha (March-May?).
  • If it is B-100*, you should look at the number that follows, if its less than 10000 or so, you should get it in the next 1-3 months (unless its Mocha again).
  • If it is B-101*, I have no idea!, this one evades me.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Roxx users, check this weird behavior in the rear differential of two Roxx, is it normal and expected?

I seriously came to post this here, and the parent video to this. But what I don’t get is why take it to MMG for fix when it should be taken to Mahindra for fix. Seems like a promotion.

Also, I doubt 2years of extensive testing and this wouldn’t have come up. Either they are doing it without Seat belt and Autohold isn’t disengaging or some thing mechanical.

Those who have taken Delivery of Roxx can you confirm.

Their total booking system & allotment procedure looks pathetic. Some with B-101*** gets early whereas some with B-1000** after this & vice versa with some other cases as well. They really need to work hard on these things especially when they knew they gonna recieve some good big numbers . More Intersting thing is even where customer got ETD details their dealer not !

This is Mx5 variant and they clearly engaged brake and tried reversing the car. Hence the judder happened. Used our thar roxx for 500kms till now. Never got this problem, when I tried reversing even on incline.

I always prefer Fabric seats over leather seats. Leather heats our body temperature quickly during long drives. And cushioning is also spot on. No back pain at all. Where as our Thar 3D RWD has the worst seat comfort and gives me back pain right after 30 mins drive. No proper lumbar support on 3D RWD thar.

In roxx, it’s comfort is similar to Xuv700 and Scorpio N

I mentioned about centre console. Drive modes are displayed here.

By default it’s in Zip mode, to engage Zoom mode, we need to go through Snow > Mud > Sand > Then Zoom with lot of lag.

Is it so? As far as I remember, it's zip, zoom then the other modes. Talking about the the petrol AT.
