If it had the brushed metallic pedals, then you are in luck because that's an add on accessory and the actual brake pedal is much smaller.

This is confirmed from my SA as well. From today KA RTO has started registration for ROXX.

SA asked me to initiate the payment procedure for delivery.

Speaking of Battleship Grey, I think Mahindra got its inspiration from its own product, Commander..!

In a weird twist, my SA is claiming no PDI allowed for Roxx. I was clear that I won’t go ahead with the purchase without PDI.

Please ask him to confirm the same in writing over an email and things will change. Mahindra allows PDI and you just have to be flexible on the location as PDIs in stockyard are stopped. Some dealers might ask for 2L as advance payment - as a commitment that you wont reject the vehicle when PDI is cleared.

For all first time customers of Mahindra, an X (read Twitter) account should be handy

This isn’t true. Better ask him to share this in writing and escalate the matter to Mahindra. You can also escalate it to his manager or someone higher up at the dealership. You might find the necessary contact details in the message they sent after your car booking.

Strange indeed, given that our dealers are the same, just different branches.
As others suggested, escalate. This is not per Mahindra norms.

As I mentioned, I already did a PDI, and my OCD was pushing me to do another one before payment and the SA was okay with it. I didn't go ahead with the second round though

Better get used to it, buddy - She's definitely the hot chick on the block! Even today, people admire the 3 door Thar and this one has just set aspirations even higher. Now many of us will abandon all logical thoughts and plonk their cheques at the altar of the Roxx !

Precisely! Now you can plan on customizing it as per your heart's desire. It still looks stunning in stock form, if I may add.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Can anyone confirm if the AX7L has illuminated door pad & central console controls (e.g. power window switches, ORVM adjustment, drive modes, A/C etc? I missed making a note of this during the TD

No hurt, its just a colour and also the only booking I have

That's the point, I don't know if I like it yet. But I think this the most practical colour in terms of cleaning and maintenance as I clean my cars on my own and that is a lot of work AND I already have a white and a similar blue. Also wanted to avoid dark colours, just too much work to keep them super shiny, and I'm not buying the Roxx for worrying about deep gloss.

On a separate note, its the '25th' eve! com'on Mahindra, don't take it to 30th!

I'm in the same situation regarding the colour choice, as I also wanted to avoid dark colours. I booked the battleship grey with brown interiors on 3rd. Some days later when I saw the colour in person, it didn't have that wow factor, so on the 18th, I booked another one in white.

I will take the final call based on the waiting period difference between the two.
