I don't think they started test drives for that engine anywhere. Other 2 engine options are available for TD everywhere.

Officially booking starts from tomorrow but all dealers already started booking since last week and giving random waiting period, I don't think that number is backed by the company.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

I saw this personally over weekend and I am not very impressed to be honest. Front looks are ok but from side angle it looks weird. Too much cut there. Rear is actually very good and looks cool. Side profile is completely bad. Its same as outgoing car and doesn't suit at all with new looks. Interiors are improved but nothing great. More or less old dashboard only. Boot space can be downer for many, they should have added some more space here.

Their only USP for me is their diesel motor. It is powerful and fuel efficient. Mahindra petrol's are not so good in terms of average and these Turbo petrol's may be fuel guzzlers too in the city use. IMHO Mahindra should have put more effort into this.

I tried hard to erase this reference from my mind, but it is not going away. Outwards and upwards line top of head light unit reminds me of Standard Herald MkIII.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Can anyone let me know, if we can get JBL audio system installed in a lower variant such as AX5L officially from Mahindra, or unofficially after-market. I have enjoyed Harmon Kardon system in my friend's Nexon and ever since been in love with it.

Officially it's not possible since M&M doesn't have any partnership with JBL. You can ask your dealership to install HK system they will do it. After market you can install pretty much everything, except a new engine in my opinion.

Mahindra XUV 3XO while being a competent package is a new offering that is bound to have niggles & has turbo petrol engines on offer. These engines are just not suited for city driving due to turbo lag in lower RPMs & lower mileage (if that is a consideration).

My suggestion would be to consider Brezza or if budget can be extended then Elevate, CVT gearbox is available from 2nd base trim as well.

Both have competent 1.5L NA engines with good & reliable AT gearboxes that will be much easier to drive, easier on pocket & would last you 10 years.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Test drove both the diesel manual and TGDI Automatic. I found the diesel to be superior in terms of refinement and ease of use, it has a predictable nature. My friend @Autocaptive noticed during our drive that the car was slightly moving from left to right while idling. This may be due to the 3-cylinder TGDI engine but it is an issue that Mahindra needs to solve ASAP. Did anyone else notice this?

I also booked online as mentioned in the previous post but yet to get a response or confirmation from the dealer. It did generate a booking reference number which will surely be useful going forward.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Booked AX7 TGDI AT DT BS6.2, in NEBULA BLUE GREY.

Got a call from the dealer after that coincidentally. I had saved my preference on the website earlier and talked with them before.

They asked me to send a screenshot of the booking confirmation.

I could not find any details around cancellation of booking. Is the amount fully refundable?

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

One of my close friend has booked the MX2 Pro petrol automatic variant of the XUV 3X0 . The sales advisor informed my friend that the automatic variant comes with hill descent control feature and hill hold assist feature as standard. However,he is unable to show us any document which mentions the existence of such a feature in MX2Pro variant. Even I checked the brochure and the brochure doesn't mention any such feature. Can anyone please confirm whether hill hold and hill descent features are available in MX2Pro automatic variant of XUV 3X0 ??
