Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Here's the mileage I got in my AX7L TGDI AT petrol:
To get to full tank before the trip: 36.62 liters of power petrol @ 110.26 rs.
Total distance driven: 575kms (85% highway, 10% city, 5% uphill and downhill) with highway speeds mostly between 85-110km/h
Reached back home with only 20kms range left.
Refuel near home: 41.27 liters normal petrol @102.96

Mileage: 575/41.27 = 13.93 kms/ltr with power petrol.

Next time, I will try with normal petrol.

May I know which Unnati dealership was this? The on Nagar road or the Wagholi one? I have booked mine from Unnati Motors, Nagar Road and the booking experience was good.

They even called me the other day saying an AX5L MT is available but I declined as I had booked AX5L AT.

It was the Wagholi one, and yes, experience for my purchase was extremely good as well. Hoping for that to continue throughout the lifespan of the vehicle.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

I took a ~10km test drive on the Diesel AMT. I drove it on a fairly crowded stretch of road but did pull out few overtakes and drove up-to 80 kms in some stretches.

Found it to be decent , apart from tall 1st gear to 2nd gear rest of the shifts were not too noticeable. Overall I found the AMT better than Baleno's AMT .

It is not as smooth as proper AT, i agree but not bad either

I am now a bit confused between AX7 D vs AX 7L of petrol. My running will be than 1500 per month . Petrol has ADAS too but mileage as shared by lot of members is very poor and it also needs 95RON petrol which is costlier . Diesel one is great it misses ADAS , Drive modes and honestly I do think Diesel car will be hard to keep for 15 years due to government policies

Can you share the accessories brochure having the SD card here? it will help people like me to show it to our SA to get the SD card fitted. At the least it will pressurize SA!
It's a shame that even after having the video recording feature in L variants, we are unable to use it and instead have to drive with the risk of no dash cam.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

hey folks,

I am getting "service reminder" alerts on Adrenox connect mobile app for my car. However, the first service was done in 1st week of November and is logged in mahindra for you app.
How can I get rid of this in adrenox? Perhaps any 7OO owners can help?

Thanks!

This is my first post after in this FORUM , so we bought a Mahindra XUV 3X0 MX2 Pro Petrol AT TcMpfi (White)on 4th Oct 2024. Just 2 days before the 25K price hike.
Continuation of my last Thread :-

I have done some more Accessories Additions to my XUV 3XO MX2 Pro P AT from Karol Bagh and want to Clarify a few things here :-

1. Mahindra Genuine Connected tail light @6500 at Auto Hood - Karol Bagh
2. Mahindra Genuine fog lamps @4500 (3200 - fog lamps + 1500 wiring with company fitted fog lamp switch) at Auto Hood - Karol Bagh.

Connected tail light is Just plug and Play and turns ON as soon as we light up the front Led at level 1.

Fog lamps were Mahindra Genuine, their throw is Just Useless but White in Color and they were installed after opening the bumper half way and then cutting the Circular Hole in the Fog Lamp space provided by Mahindra using a Heat Gun and a Cutter of some sort. Then they connected the wiring to battery and the other wire then Sent Inside the Cabin through the Ac pipes hole and then connected it to the Fog lamp button in the switch. It turns ON only when we turn on the lights at level 1(Same functionality in mostly in all cars that I have driven), but the light which should have turned On in the Meter/Cluster doesn't turn On(maybe some kind of coding might be required).

1 Thing about Karol Bagh I noticed is that in Youtube Videos they say 30-50% discount on Genuine Accessories but that is not the Case , They mention the price in Videos which is Applicable if your bill is Around Rs 80K + only , otherwise the original price they ask from you is far beyond what they mention in Videos.

There are 3-4 Shops in Karol Bagh which specializes in 3Xo modifications , I called all of them and then went to Auto Hood but after the fitting they added labour/Fitting charges Extra without my knowledge which I had to pay.

Youtube videos price :-

1.Connected tail light = 3-5K
They ask original price = 6.5K minimum
2. Mahindra genuine fog lamps = 2.2K
They ask = 4.5k
3. Gloss black panel Aroundpower Window buttons (4 pieces) = Rs 1000
they ask = Rs 2000
4. Chrome Inside Door Handles(4 pieces) = 2.2K
they ask 4.5k

There was 1 mod which I myself tried 1 month ago was purchasing the right Side cruise Control button of AX5/7 model (Rs 1100-1200 from BODOMO) and getting it fitted from a technician outside thinking that only if the lights turn ON, I'll be happy.

I paid the guy Rs 300 but when we opened the steering and saw the connection/ Coupler didn't match with the cruise button. So now it's just fitted there and filing the empty space in Steering wheel.

Then I went to Karol Bagh to get the fitment done of accessories and I asked them If they could just turn on the lights in the Right Side Cruise control button (Cause in their videos they show that the lights can be turned ON but the CRUISE functionality won't work) , but they said that their Electrician is not Available and they called some outside technician who said he can do it but demanded 1000 Rs, So I rejected.

Then I went to Another Shop called Car Customs Ultimate which already had 2 MX1's parked with MODS going on, I asked them if they could Turn ON the lights in CRUISE control button and they quoted Rs 500 and I agreed.

Then they started filming their Youtube video with 3 3Xo's parked(Mine Included) and went on with the filming.

(Me 1:36 Guy standing in Black Shirt and White 3Xo)

Afterwards They asked me about the price of Mods that I got done from Auto Hood and said "We would have done it in 10K only" cause they don't apply the extra Labour/Fitment charge.

After 1 hour their electrician came and tried his best and then couldn't turn ON the lights in the button and said "Get the MX3's Cruise Button, that will fit easily"
https://boodmo.com/catalog/part-stee...h_rh-58368344/

So had to come home with Disappointment only.

But saw some new Videos recently and few shops have used the same cruise button as Mine and still turned On the light, So maybe in future will get it fixed.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Guys, my Mahindra dealer had called me earlier today and informed me that a black MXI has arrived from factory. That was the colour and variant I had booked. I wanted a 3XO without sunroof and MX1 was the only variant I could look into and thus had booked..

I had booked it in first week of August and waited till end November and then cancelled my 3XO booking and booked Maruti Jimny Alpha Automatic which has also arrived at Maruti dealer stockyard and I have made the payment and deal is completed. I shall be taking the delivery of Jimny in a couple of days..

Mahindra dealer, Naik Motors refunded my full booking amount of Rs 21,000 within a week of cancelling the booking. They were prompt in that regard. Their sales manager asked me if I was interested in 3 door Thar (readily available) with good discount. I wasn't keen on it as it was a RWD & not 4X4. They tried to enthuse me with increasing discount on 3door Thar, but I wasn't looking to buy Thar and that was it..

If anyone from Goa is interested to buy a black MX1 (base variant) then it's readily available at Mahindra dealer, Naik Motors at Verna, Goa.. Please speak with Mrs Suvarna, Sales Manager at Naik Motors. Goa

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

AutoCar - Compact SUV of the Year

There was plenty of action this year in the compact SUV segment, too, with the likes of the new Toyota Taisor, Tata Punch EV and the Kia Sonet facelift, but it was the Mahindra XUV 3XO that was crowned the Compact SUV of the Year. The rebranding not only gave the erstwhile XUV300 a new identity, but also strong new powertrains and a more upmarket interior.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

I had booked AX5L AT (Petrol) on Oct 28th and I just got the below confirmation:

Name: Allotment Confirmation.png
Views: 316
Size: 18.5 KB

I'm a little surprised at two things:

1: The chassis number is missing.
2: No mention of PDI.

Is it common for dealers to try and push the customer like this? Although I declined the allotment as I want my delivery only in Jan-Feb, I feel they will use this tactic again at that time.

What should my approach be then? How can I push back without losing out on my allotment?

Not common amongst dealers. People are now smart enough to ask for PDI before paying anything beyond the booking amount.

Did they really put up these absurd terms during booking? If so I wouldn't have made the booking in the first place.

If it was me, I would ask them to take a hike and return my booking amount.

During booking, I categorically told them that I'll be doing 3rd party PDI. They said they are fine with physical PDI from 3rd party but they won't permit PDI of electronics by 3rd party vendors.

However, this kind of rushing felt unnecessary to me where they try and subvert PDI.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

10,000+ Km Review and How I Completed Mahindra’s unfinished Business with DIY Hacks

3XO AX5L AT

Hi everyone, I wanted to Share my overall experience after riding 3XO for 10,000+Km.

Pros :

1. Driving experience - Overall driving dynamics of the car is top notch, the quick acceleration, stable suspension tuning and stability.
2. NVH levels - even though being a 3 cylinder the NVH levels are surprisingly calm. And no noticeable rumbles.
3. Rear space - Decent shoulder room. Can accommodate 3 adults behind (shoulder room only)
4. Connected features- Packed with tech, in built Alexa is actually useful in scenarios where, i can turn on smart lights of my home, just by a command from the car when returning to home during late hours. Also adrenox remote start/stop comes very handy while parking under sun. (Works fine for 90%, remaining 10% thanks to Vodafone’s connectivity)
5. AEBS - one the finest tuned AEBS, where it is not instructive at all. Have been driving with it turned on in full packed traffic in most of the major cities in south India.
6. Transmission - The gearbox shifts swiftly in a way that we don’t even notice the lack of paddle shifters.

Problems which got resolved/only happened once :

1. Number plate placement - The Place for number plate is given dangerously close to the RADAR of ADAS, Which tampered with the functions of AEBS. So fixing the number plate without any frame and also at the top as much as possible is the solution.
2. 360 degree Camera error - System Glitched and turned into green screen for one Whole Drive Cycle and it Did Not occur again2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-img_8676.jpeg2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-img_8677.jpeg
3. Wireless charger problems - Wireless Charger stopped Working for about 2.5 months and when i reached out to service centre technician informed me that there are already few who are already facing this, and they have escalated it further and they are expecting a software update soon for it. (update : it got fixed during the software update)
4. Check Engine warning - Also once during driving, suddenly check engine warning light turned on and engine stopped delivering power. However when I turned off and turned On the ignition, all was normal. It didn’t happen again.

Cons :

1. Poor fit and finish of certain parts - Plastic parts such as ISOFIX mount Cladding and rear armrest Bottle holder are poorly secured and it came of easily and not able to properly secure it
2. Fuel economy - It is very low, if you are coming from a high fuel efficient cars. On average 9 kmpl is the best one can get during city drives, 13-14 on highways
3. Under thigh support - people above 5.5 ft will definitely notice the lack of under thigh support at rear
4. Lack of cubby holes - may be a downgrade while comparing xuv 300. There are not many convenient places to keep accessories such as wallet, co-driver phone etc.

Now with the DIY part :

1. Lack of Ventilated seats was one of few things Mahindra missed, however riggear ventilated seat accessory actually works great in compensating the missed feature.2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-img_8675.jpeg

2. 360 degree camera Digital video recording needs a sd card to work but however, The sd card must be installed in tricky place by removing the glove box. I request the SC guy help me with that, but they were not heeding. So I decided to take the matter into my own hands. i removed the glove box myself and used a micro sd card extender to extend sd card slot to a convenient place and used 64gb sd card which i already had. It works like a charm and also gives a peace of mind that i can retrieve the sd card at any moment i want.
