How did you get to know a new software version arrived? Was the information shared by staff or someone or just sheer luck. Or is there a WhatsApp group for this info. Asking out of curiosity since my AX5L just shows up-to-date.

Reply from Shubham:
He had raised a complaint for a different head unit issue and SC updated his software version. Neither AA or CP works after this update.

I visited my local Mahindra dealer in Goa to inquire about my MX1. I was told that I am 2nd in the list now and could get the base variant car in the next lot. I had booked the car in first week of August.

Later, I was chatting with the sales manager on various topics related to 3XO and she said that a couple of AX7 Diesel Manual Variant cars are in stock for immediate delivery. I think a few MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5L, and AX7 are available for immediate delivery here.

I asked her if someone from other state could buy the car here and get a temporary registration and drive back to their state and get permanent registration at their home state. She replied that it wasnt possible and they don't do temporary registrations and they do only permanent registration and the buyer should have Goa Aadhaar and Election card..

I think Mahindra is distributing it's 3XO pan India to the dealers uniformly and there's a long waiting list in Tier A Cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore while some variants are available off the shelf in some states / dealer like in Goa.

I was told MX1 has over 24-26 weeks / 6+ months long waiting list and my booking is only 7 weeks or 1-1/2 month old. However due to lower booking number and uniform distribution of cars by Mahindra across their dealers, I could get my car in less than a month's time/4 weeks now. Infact I could get it in the coming lot of they receive my variant with colour that I have chosen.

So, people with long waiting and wanting the car ASAP, just check if any Tier B / Tier C City dealer within your state could deliver your desired variant earlier than your present dealer. I think within the state, it shouldn't be a problem for temporary registration to move to home city.

I am looking for some real life fuel efficiency figures from owners of the petrol AT. Would really appreciate it, thanks!

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

With so much hype and bumper bookings I am hardly seeing any 3XOs on Delhi roads. One of my relative booked his MX1 3 months ago and still no update on when he can expect the car. They are just ruining it with the delays and am sure it's gonna loose the fizz as lot of buyers would cancel and move on. The plan was good to come up a great packaged car with excellent pricing to revive the model but execution is just pathetic.

I've been driving the AX5L P AT in Mumbai. My FE is 8.x in city and ~10 on highway. I'm a light foot driver and have just completed 2200 kms. Mileage isn't the most fantastic for a 3 cylinder engine unfortunately :(

Hey , I have the TCMPFI petrol engine with an automatic transmission. I am doing Noida - Greater Noida with it and on expressway its giving me 19 - 23 KM/L (Mostly gives 20 KM/L + , speed is mostly around 80). In heavy city traffic its mostly 8 KM/L and in normal traffic will give you 9 - 15 KM/L. I have been filling it up with normal petrol only . It also depends on your driving style a lot , with a light foot i get 12 - 15 KM/L in Noida traffic , but in peak traffic it gives you 8 KM/L.

95% of the time i have been using Zap mode ( City mode ). Best constant fuel efficiency achieved was 22.2 KM/ (ON MID) .

Its a very capable mile muncher on the expressways.

AX5L AT (TGDI petrol) owner here. The best mileage I got was around 14 kmpl over a 240km drive from Halebeedu to Bangalore. The drive did include a bad 20k stretch on NH373, more than 50 km of winding road, and a 5km heavy traffic stretch.

In the city the best I managed to get was around 10 kmpl.

I am learning that the 130 bhp TGDI engine is not great for FE. On the positive side the car accelerates from 30 to 120 kmph and more without any apparent strain.

There should be a small improvement in mileage once the car is driven more than 10000-15000 km.

The city FE not something great, but better than what people talk about ie. 8. It is said with a lighter foot in the city it can go up further, need to wait for anyone who's achieved that higher number.

I think this anology is to an extent true. I have seen a guy getting Deep Forest AX5L in 4 days in Lucknow, and then few more on the FB groups have got it earlier on tier 2-3 cities. While the guy from Lucknow may have got a cancellation car but then overall in smaller towns availability is better.

PDI & Rejection Post: https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/offic...ml#post5823645 (2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review)

My 3XO booking is officially cancelled by the refund amount to credit card yesterday (full refund without penalties). Not interested in joining the 3XO queue at the end and start over again. I feel its not worth waiting for several months, no matter what it offers.

Besides the Taigun/Kushaq twins, Windsor EV seems promising with its full car price lower than 3XO (EVs enjoy zero road tax in TN). Will check it out once test drives begin and take a call in October.

Until then, Tata to Mahindra
