Even I was waiting for last 2 months, have booked AX5 P MT Nebula Blue, today I visited showroom to enquire and told them many people has got delivery which booked subsequent to me(off course ye hawa me teer chalaya tha) with high volume. They said it’s not possible but if I’m ready to change colour to deep forest in same variant, I can get my delivery in seven days. I’m planning to take now deep forest instead of nebula blue, any one who have seen deep forest in actual, can confirm how does it look? Will it need any extra maintenance compared to Nebula Blue?

Even I’m in the same situation it’s been over 60 days since I booked AX5L AT in Nebula Blue but the dealer who once promised delivery within 2 months now has become unresponsive and is avoiding calls and is clueless when exactly the car is going get allotted (he quite literally says be hopeful that it may arrive soon )

Can anyone please guide what’s the best action to take since many people who have booked the car at a later date than me are getting theirs, is there any email ID of Mahindra other than customercare@mahindra.com cause that email is as useless as the dealer which just says we’re looking into it and nothing happens.

Hello! We 3 are sailing together. It's been almost 3 months since I booked my AX5L AT Nebula Blue. However, there are no signs of delivery happening soon. Dealer has 0 clue on when they can deliver. My experience with Sireesh Auto Silk Board hasn't been good. They are unresponsive and can't commit on a date or share tentative timelines.

I have tried to reach out to M&Ms CEO office to see if the delivery dates can be clearly informed, yet to hear back.

Indeed!

I’m pretty sure Mahindra is making more MX3s than any other variants because of all the 3XOs I saw Bangalore majorly were either MX3 or MX3 Pro and very few AX5s and same goes for deliveries I’ve hardly seen any AX7 or AX5L being delivered in Bangalore.

The worst part is the dealers themselves are clueless, I guess these guys won’t do anything unless more and more people start questioning this.

I have raised it through a mutual contact. Don't have email id with me. I'll keep the thread updated if I hear back something which helps.

Here are some images of the Deep Forest 3XO, a test drive vehicle at the Mahindra Anant Cars Showroom in Marathahalli, Bangalore.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Has any 3XO owner got seat covers installed which has a better thigh support for the rear seats ? During my visit to the showroom and the test drive, I found the under thight support for the rear seats to be below average. This was a problem with the outgoing XUV 300 model as well and I was hopeful that Mahindra would resolve it in the new version but alas! If somebody has tried out a fix for this situation please provide your suggestion.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Hey guys,
I visited my dealership stockyard this morning hoping to complete PDI of my 3XO real quick, only to come back disappointed. There were multiple issues with the car/dealership and I'm starting to think if this a message from the Universe to push me away from 3XO & M&M .

2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-image_20240815_212834159.png

1. Odometer found to be 34km. I know it's not a lot of distance, but for Coimbatore, it is. The yard is accessible to trucks and I believe cars are unloaded directly without having to be driven manually from far away. I suspect it was taken out for a joy ride or test drive for other prospects by the dealership guys. For reference, my Tiago had only 11km during PDI.

2. Unusually large number of interior stains, which adds up to my suspicion in point #1.

Dark mud spot on driver seat (plastic cover was found half-removed, multiple mud stains on the seat base & front)

2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-image_20240815_225908849.png

Front door pads had a good amount of dirt on them.

Part of the protective plastic layer has been peeled off from glossy area (same for the white trims near the front footwells):

Roof liner had a good amount of hand marks and dirt marks:

3. Muddy splashes found inside engine bay. Minor splashes would have convinced me but it had gone all the way up in the bay, pulling me toward a higher speed drive during rains.
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-engine-bay-mud-splash.png

Entire under body was mucky which isn't normal for a parked car
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-image_20240815_223542881.png

4. Part of the radiator fins was slightly dented, as if stones got hit, possibly during a highway run.
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-radiator-fin-damage.png

5. Left side roof rail had a huge gap, as if it part of it came off its locking position. This could be a genuine defect from the factory, I am not sure.
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-roof-rail-defect-1.png
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-roof-rail-defect-2.png

6. Right side air vent was improperly installed.

2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-air-vent-misfit.png

Additional General Observations:
1. The claddings on the side appear to be jutting out a little bit. Not sure why?
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-image_20240815_214119554.png

2. Spotted uneven gap (thanks to Tata for training my eyes to look for them)
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-image_20240815_214248047.png

3. The same gloss black plastic actually juts out from rear doors. Seems to be a design vs engineering challenge?
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-image_20240815_214350767.png

4. Jugaad to secure the roof liner at corners. Why cut corners and then glue them ?
2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review-image_20240815_223406908.png

5. Boot floor is not a hard cardboard. It flexes even to a slight force by hand. My Tiago has a rock hard cardboard material which can take heavy loads without flexing. Is it the same on all 3XOs?

I had firmly informed my SA and his manager that I will not take this car and sent them an email with photographs. They tried to convince me with some lame reasons like dealership PDA may have test driven longer, factory testing would have done for long distance, etc., but none of them were convincing. Hopefully they will update me tomorrow on what's next - either wait for the next batch (who knows when), or cancel 3XO and go back to to square one - Taigun/Kushaq/Curvv/etc.

Fed up family members waiting to wrap up the photo session.

PS: Right after the PDI, we drove straight to Tata showroom and checked out the ICE Curvv. Turns out, its rear seats are actually better than EV and wife actually liked the Curvv more than 3XO.

Imagine paying 17+ lakhs for a car and waiting multiple months only to see this.
Mahindra dealers are really tarnishing the brand image.
I would definitely stay away from such dealers.

Yesterday my friend and I test drove a Deep Forest AX5 L Automatic in which my friend was interested. The colour is fantastic. It's a relatively new colour and the car looks amazing in that colour.

All dark colours require a tad bit higher maintenance compared to lighter shade such as white or silver. Black requires highest maintenance while white requires the least maintenance. Rest of the colours are in between these 2 colours.

I personally liked the Deep forest colour very much. It suits the car quite well. I suggest, you should favorably consider this colour.

Black or Blue..!!
Blue looks good but I am worried that shine will fade n would look little dull after a year... Plus I feel Black would have better resale value.
In case you are okay with WHITE, it always has a better resale, I guess, at least though my automotive group says so. Here is mine: AX5L AT White. I made it dual-tone with a professional "ESPERTO.IN" that uses international quality sheets (at least it was claimed so), and the work and finish look very nice!

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Mahindra finally delivered my AX7 AT petrol white DT couple days ago.

Many positives as discussed in the thread above. Totally happy with the car and all are mighty impressed by the car.

Few things I wanted to know

- Android auto update is still pending any one received in AX7?
- Coming from baleno which have UV cut glass, I am seriously missing that UV protection. Any idea about RTO approved film and approx cost?

Happy to answer if anyone have any questions.

Re: 2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO Review

Took the car on my first long drive over the long weekend. The car performed splendidly over the entire duration of the trip without any major niggles.
Some of my observations:
  • The AC and the music system performed extremely well over the entire duration
  • Since the road is mostly under construction, I had to take some diversions through the jungles with unpaved safari-like roads with traffic on both sides. Got some micro scratches on the side due to the bushes and thorns. Hopefully, they will not show and a good polish should take care of them. I haven't opted for PPF or any coating so far.
  • I drove the entire duration in ZAP mode only and I felt that the steering is very light at slow speeds and it took a little while to get accustomed to the feedback. As the speed increases, the steering gets heavy and responds better.
  • The is a warning sound played when the speed crosses 80KMPH. With music on, I could barely hear any noise inside the cabin and there were absolutely no vibrations at least upto 110KMPH. The car handled itself beautifully.
  • The 360 degree camera is a boon and does its job well even in sparsely lit areas.
  • For some reason, maps didn't work and I had to follow the voice instructions on the google maps in my phone. I have to play around with the infotainment system a bit more

Overall, it was a fun trip and I know now that me and my car are understanding each other really well. Our future looks bright together

Attaching a couple of photos en-route. I am not a fan of large amounts of chrome but the tail-lamp applique stands out and enhances the look of the car from the back.

Crossed 2 months for me, AX5L AT Galaxy Grey, the only answer I get is "Once billing is done will get back to you sir" standard reply
