These 3 (previous) and 4 (current) pod LEDs are pathetic. I see this in the Alcazar. It just scatters everywhere with poor visibility. There's nothing much to do here but try if you switch this to projectors (base model) coupled with HIDs. I know few guys who did this on the previous gen Creta and are pretty happy with the output.

Guess they silently removed this like the 5th alloy wheel. I have this on mine (First gen Creta).

Moving the gear lever to the right is taking the car into sports mode. Here the gear selected by the paddle is held for a longer time but I felt the car takes over after sometime. Need to play around a bit.

I saw the Creta N Line briefly when I went fory annual service. Compared to the regular Creta, there were some things that I absolutely loved.



First, the glorious N Line steering wheel. I don't like the FL Creta wheel all that much, as it appears confused and rather too weird. This one looks sweet, along with the N badge at the bottom. Even the button placement on the arms looks beautiful.



Next, those billeted aluminum pedals. Damn now that's good looking!



Finally, the black theme inside instead of the depressing grey. Even the headliner is in black!

Isn't the power output the same as the regular Creta, though?

I am also going ahead with Creta (just worried about the DCT). Since I still have some time, I am waiting for the crash test if Hyundai goes for it.

You can put the gearstick into the Sport 'S' mode, and from thereon, control the shifts using the paddle shifters - the moment you will either upshift or downshift, the gearbox will get into the quasi manual mode and will remain there unlike the manual intervention in the Drive 'D' mode which reverts back to the DCT taking over the shifts after a few mins. In the Sport mode, the DCT holds on to the gears and revs to the extent allowed by the ECU for a particular gear. You can change thing config from the vehicle settings somewhere. Same for acceleration in cruise control. I was able to in my Seltos X-Line, I believe it should be similar for you.

Freaked me out the first time it accelerated after I changed lane to go around the car in front of me while in cruise control.

What are the negatives in doing this (Sport + Manual), if at all?? like sports mode will affect mileage etc.

Congratulations! I have as well bought this black beast - N10 DCT few days back - my experience is similar to yours and currently satisfied with the performance but yes the headlight's performance is not as per the expectations - otherwise overall it is a fun to drive car IMO.

Loved the overall black & red use - definitely a head turner.

The only real negative I have observed is the material impact on the mileage. In the Sport mode, the ECU holds the revs on or above 2,000 rpm, and the slightest of inputs to the accelerator pedal lunges the car forward.

I have read concerns from folks about the longevity of the DCT gearbox due to prolonged usage of Sport mode, but for me, it is hearsay.

Apart from my concerns about the dismal safety ratings of most Hyundais and almost all Kias - which is why I wouldn’t touch one with a barge pole - I have to ask: what do people expect from an N Line?

The Creta N Line isn’t a performance-oriented N variant and isn’t meant to be. It still has a good engine. This N Line will surely boost sales for Hyundai, and I think it looks great inside and out (especially in the Titan something and Nardo Grey knockoff paint schemes). Is it better than those Karol Bagh conversion kits? Definitely.

I think Tech features, sportier looks and CRETA legacy is all that makes N Line stand out from peers, they have definitely improved on the build quality (expecting better safety ratings).

Hey everyone,

Just got my new N10 DCT and wanted to share my thoughts.

My son and I took both the N-Line and SX (O) DCT for a good spin on different roads, including some pretty bumpy ones. Honestly, we didn't notice much difference in the ride quality.

We also got the wife and daughter to test the back seats. They didn't complain much about the N-Line, just said it was way better than our old Venue.

I personally liked the SX(O)'s interior more, but my son was all about the N-Line. Tried to sway him with the suspension argument, but he wasn't having it.

So, we ended up going with the N-Line. Despite what some reviewers say, I think the 18-inch wheels and low-profile tires are totally fine.

My advice: If you're on the fence, take both for a long test drive, ideally on the same day and route, so you can really compare them.



I wasn't loving the red accents at first and planned to black them out. But they've grown on me, so I'm keeping them.

Has someone figured out a solution for the poor headlights? They didn't look very exciting to start with, but after driving on highways I feel they fall short of doing the needful.

I was looking at foglamp-projectors or barlight options. While it would be challenging to install foglamps, the barlight option looks very aftermarket and would spoil the looks.
