Thank you! I saw a PDI checklist here which mentioned PUCC so I began wondering about it, perhaps the checklist is outdated.

Re: Honda Elevate Review

There are plenty of videos on YouTube showing that Wireless Android Auto disconnects frequently on its own. Has anyone found a fix for that yet?

This is a really annoying problem. Apart from frequent disconnects, the entire infotainment system went black last day. Normally when android auto gets disconnects, I used to restart the infotainment system to fix it.

But when the entire system went black, I had to restart the whole car to get it back to working.

I mentioned that to the ASS during the first service. They mentioned they have checked the HU but no issues were found. After the service, I haven't used wireless AA that much to get the black screen again. Hopefully they update the HU to fix the issues with wireless AA. Till then wired AA is the way to go.

On multiple occasions I have witnessed either a blank screen or an irresponsive HU or the maps navigation failed to start (requiring re connect) or the steering media control/voice assistant buttons being non responsive (except first all others were on wired AA). Hopefully Honda fixes the issues soon and issue a recall.

Are these issues prevalent on the ZX HU also? Or just the 8 inch HUs?

They are there on the ZX model also from what I've heard. During PDI of my vehicle, I raised this concern with the Sales person at Landmark Honda Ahmedabad. He flat out denied the car having any such issues, even claiming that he drives an Elevate for the dealership frequently and has seen no such problems personally. Also, after going through more videos on YT, seems like some units have this problem, but some don't.

Do you see the issue only when using wireless android auto, or even when simply listening to music through Bluetooth?

The above happened while I switched to Reverse gear. Before opening the revere cam, the system just went blank and had to restart.

Temporary registration is valid for 6 months and as far as I know, there is no restriction on usage of vehicle during this period. Vehicle has to be permanently registered within this period.

I got my car from Chandigarh in September with a temporary registration and permanent registration was applied for after 2 weeks, which took another 2-3 days. After delivery, I drove my car with TC plate to Gurgaon and frequently go to Delhi. As I couldn’t travel to Chandigarh after that, haven’t been able to get the number plates fixed and still have Temporary number plate. With temporary number plate, I have travelled frequently within Haryana, and have done a 2500 km road trip till Jaisalmer and border.

If there was any restriction on driving with temporary plates, I am sure I would have been asked to stop at one of the multiple police check posts crossed since then.

Re: Honda Elevate Review

Recently, I test-drove the Elevate ZX CVT, contemplating an upgrade from my 2017 Honda Jazz. Initially, the compact interior raised some concerns, but my apprehension faded away as soon as I hit the road. The car's exceptional handling, especially considering its 220mm ground clearance, left a lasting impression. It effortlessly navigated city streets and, when I ventured onto the highway, the engine's power was evident as it swiftly reached 140KPH.
While I'm not overly concerned with fancy features like rain-sensing wipers or automatic headlights, I prioritize a robust air conditioning system, a reliable engine, excellent driving dynamics, and the assurance of six airbags – all of which the Elevate delivers convincingly. I'm seriously considering booking it soon, given its impressive performance during the test drive.

Having explored other contenders in the segment, the Taigun DSG caught my attention with commendable driving dynamics. However, the cramped rear bench left me wanting more space. The Kushaq DSG shared a similar issue, and its peculiar AC vent design brought unexpected amusement but ultimately swayed my preference towards the Taigun. Basically when I tried to adjust the ac vent the knob came out like a tongue and went back, I bursted into laughter.

The Hyundai Creta and Seltos showcased appealing interiors, but their driving dynamics fell short of my expectations. Drawing from past experiences with Hyundai's i20 and EON, I found their build quality lacking, with the exception of the older Tucson, which appealed more than its newer counterparts resembling a fusion of Toyota and Peugeot.

Maruti, although renowned for safety (Sarcasm ), didn't resonate with me, and the TATA’s showroom experience was less than impressive. A malfunctioning rear door on the flagship Safari raised concerns about build quality, leading me to consider alternative options. I once went to heir showroom, and the rear door wouldnt close, instead it made a huge thud. It was a new car. So a guy came with a pen, he tried to unhinge the lock, the pen (A Use and throw pen) broke and all ink sprayed on his shirt, he then calls another one, he tried to shut the door, it doesn't and makes even a louder “THUD” noise. With this, I started walking away as it was happening with their flagship car, the Safari. I respectfully decided never to go back again.

After this thorough exploration, the Elevate stands out as a strong contender for my next car. However, I'm open to suggestions if someone recommends an alternative. My criteria include a 5-seater with a budget of around 20 lakhs on-road.

Yes this was confirmed at the time of our Elevate delivery. Yellow T board is valid for 6 months (All India). Just keep the TC registration doc handy in the car.

Please see the picture below and note the specific part number GLLM-080. Anyone who is interested in tray mats (NOT 7D mats) can inquire about these at their local accessory store. I have fitted these in my elevate and they fit perfectly now. The price I paid was Rs. 4500.
I am in the process of booking ZX CVT at a dealer from Pune. Can you tell me from where/ which online web site or accessories store in Pune?

Thanks!

Hi, Did you buy all of these accessories from the dealership?
Is "door edge protector" same as "door edge garnish" which is mentioned in the accessories price list?

I am also going to convince the dealer to allow to buy only some of the accessories from the Basic Kit. Hope it works out.

Thanks

Hi Stanley123,

Congratulations on the ZX CVT. Did you happen to ask what are the modifications which Honda is going to do for the price modifications? Maybe 6 airbags as standard?
