I hadnt checked the variant wise features so this video surprised me as this is probably the first ever base variant of a car with so many must have features:
- Keyless entry and push button start
- Auto AC
- Steering controls and touchscreen system
- All four power windows and electric ORVMs
- Adjustable headrests at the rear
- 60:40 split, Parcel tray, LED lights etc. as minor features.

The only thing really missing is the rear wiper and washer, reverse camera and fog lamps.

Same thing crossed my mind as well. I hope Honda doesn't skimp on these silently - some of these features are very useful and a buyer like me prefers these over fancy stuff - sunroof, ambient lighting, air purifier, etc.

Some comments on YouTube indicate that this is V. I have my doubts but let's see. Honda City owners can validate if their V variants came with some of the above features AND steel wheels.

My apologies guys. This indeed seems like the V variant as per the earlier leaked variant details. I just saw the thumbnail and posted it here without actually checking the video out.

Seems like, Honda has equipped the V variant on par with Maruti's Delta variant of Grand Vitara, however, the latter does get a few extra features( Cruise Control, Footwell Lightning, 3- Point seatbelt for all, etc)

For a moment there, the feature spread had me. It felt like how could a base variant pamper a buyer this much.
Point revised: If it is too good to be true, it probably is.

Overall I have positive impression of elevate. Waiting for price
Definitely not a gimmick, instead of blasting cold air on your face, ventilated seats provide much needed relief preventing sweaty spots . The one in the Seltos is quite decent, with 3 fan levels.

Could't feel any air flowing or touching my back at level 3 and seats were much harder(may be because of fans) than elevate

Did you try it in Honda City 5th Gen? Just curious if the feature is as good as it seems at face value?

I will give it a try during test drive as I am confused between Seltos and Elevate.

Disagree with this point. I use it Chennai Summer and it's such a comforting feature.

How did you find the rear seating space compared to Jazz? Does it feel bigger?

As per my observation, it's smaller than Jazz. Me, my wife and my 4 year daughter have less space in Elevate then when we sit in Jazz back seat.

We immediately went to Hyundai for quick comparison with Creta back seat. Creta has much larger sitting area.

Also my wife found Elevate's interior a bit smaller than Jazz or City.

I too visited the showroom today and has exactly the same observation. My height is 5' 11'' and due to this angled floor i found the under thigh support lacking for all but driver seat which i could adjust vertically and managed to get a comfortable position. I am in dilemma now whether this should be a deal breaker!

It is definitely roomier than Jazz, the seat cushioning is good. As for the leg room it might be slightly more than the Jazz can't recollect exactly how my Jazz felt in the rear seat, because I was mostly on the driver's seat . One thing for sure is that the under thigh support is definitely lacking on the elevate. Honda City is definitely better than both from the rear seat comfort perspective.

Exactly! I forgot to mention about the angled floor under the front seats, that seems to amplify the lack of under thigh support even more. However it makes your feet feel a little bit relaxed over longer journeys.

Oops that's two contrasting views

Waiting for the car to arrive in my regular showroom to have a first hand experience. Initially I was expecting it to be CITY with high GC but as more and more BHPian(who have seen it physically) feedbacks are pouring in, it seems CITY will stay the flagship and this will feel a bit inferior in terms of quality, space & features. If that's the case, this should definitely undercut CITY pricing by a good margin.

From my point of view, following are the negatives from Jazz
  1. Jazz has bigger windows than Elevate.
  2. Jazz has so many holes to place things which is missing in Elevate.
  3. Jazz has dual globe box while Elevate has fake wood feel with single globe box.
  4. To me, Jazz fog lambs seem better integrated than Elevate. In Elevate, I feel they wanted multiple lights in fog lamp area and then someone decided to have a single fog lamp.

Actually, this would have been a great product had it been more near City. I think Elevate will go similar way to BRV. People will sit in Elevate and then in City and will finalise City.
Even I was wondering in the showroom if I should get the new City instead of Elevate.

I am planning to take delivery of Elevate ZX CVT during Navratri. Hopefully by then, it will become clear if it's worth it.

Lastly my Sales guy is also frustrated with slow progress by Honda. He has 50 cars available for immediate delivery and will start delivery from 10th September due to RTO.
