Hey,

You should be able to get an extended warranty. Here's a link with more information:https://www.marutisuzuki.com/service/extended-warranty

You can also check your eligibility and purchase an extended warranty or Comprehensive Care Package (CCP) through the Maruti Suzuki app. Just enter your registered phone number, select your vehicle, enter a km higher than your last visit at service center and choose the option you want.

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/attac...1&d=1739204822

Extended warranties up to the 6th year are available, but only for vehicles purchased on or after July 9, 2024, that originally came with standard warranty coverage.

Even though my VX is ready for delivery I have chosen INVICTO. The only reason it has 6 Airbags.

I was been asked by many of friends why suzuki? Why can't Toyota.

I do agree that many think why someone should pay 32 lakhs for Suzuki Brand? But for me brand doesn't matter, but for sure Make matters. In Invicto you can see Toyota brand Every where. I don't think logo change will not degrade the Product Value.

Post delivery changed the front Grill to black color as I did not like too much Chrome. To my surprise even Suzuki logo is also made by Toyota. Check the Pics.
Nice one. I was wondering if it makes sense to simply remove the front grill, and if that will give it the more SUV-like facade of the Innova. Was this something you evaluated?

Re: Maruti Invicto Review

Managed to get Invicto Alpha + for ~ 29L on road which I think is a very good price for the car.
The dealer was ready to deliver the car on the same day but we took delivery 2 days later after settling all the finances and other formalities.
I still don’t understand why people think Invicto is inferior to Hycross in terms of build and safety just because it has a Suzuki badge.
Coming to the feature ommisions when compared to Hycross ZXO, the only one that i truly miss is ADAS.
1. The ottoman seats are not of much use if your height is more than 5’8” and I’ve experienced this myself.
2. The JBL audio system is better in Hycross, but the stock one in Invicto is decent and was not a dealbreaker for me.
3. The Hycross’s brown interior surely looks better. Invicto has an all black interior but I really like the champagne gold trim much more as compared to Hycross’s silver trim.
4. I prefer the diamond cut 17” Invicto alloys because of their better ride over the Hycross 18” alloy wheels.
5. No fog lamps - I don’t like the general trend of cost cutting by car manufacturers to remove the fog lamps. They should have been present on such an expensive car no doubt. I am planing to get them installed aftermarket because the lighting of the car is not adequate especially in fog. My 8 year old Honda city has better headlights and fog lights.

Considering all things, I feel that the on road price difference ~ 7L when compared to Hycross ZXO and also the exorbitant waiting period makes up for all the missing features/shortcomings and the Invicto Alpha+ is a steal at this price.

Thank you very much!
A family friend got the same deal which prompted us to consider the Invicto.
I liked the Hycross alot but the top ZXO at ~36L on road was not felling worth it.
I knew from the start that Invicto is the same product just with a different branding but idk why never considered it.

We woke up at the last minute as MSSF was supposed to be till 2024 only.
The car was booked officially on 31st December 2024 8 PM at NEXA (Hoshiarpur Automobile, Ludhiana, Dholewal). There are 3 Nexa in Ludhiana - Gulzar, Lovely and Hoshiarpur. Out of these only Hoshiarpur Automobiles had the stock.

This price was possible because of 2 things -
1. Maruti MSSF Finance offer
2. Unsold Invicto 2024 stock

I also was looking to make use of UP Hybrid RTO tax benefit but the car needed to be purchased and registered in UP. UP dealers didn’t have standing stock of Alpha+ so they were not offering that discount.
We called up a lot of UP dealers from many cities but at the end, the final price from any UP dealer ended up being more than what was being offered at Ludhiana even with no RTO benefits.

But I will say one thing - Invicto is the most expensive and Flagship car for Nexa/Maruti but the NEXA dealerships are not capable of delivering the experience of buying a 30L car.

Congratulations on your new car, M! Hope you're loving it!

I completely agree with everything you've said.

Did you happen to get the 6-year extended warranty? And were you able to get the Suzuki Connect app working?

Thank you!

No I haven’t opted for the extended warranty but I read your post above and will consider it.

The Suzuki connect is working flawlessly.
If it’s not working for you, call the dealership as whatever needs to be done is on their end only.
I have found 2 things missing in Suzuki connect for Invicto that I have seen in other Maruti cars-
1. When the car is running, the current speed isn’t displayed - it just says ignition on
2. On the trips history section, it’s missing fuel consumption kmpl values, max speed and driving score.

Both these I think are because Invicto is not outright a Suzuki product so maybe the integration is not that proper.

Re: Maruti Invicto Review

I feel Invicto's black interior will mask the sub-par premium feel of Hycross to an extent. If kept well, the black interiors look nice too.

I spoke to one of the Nexa dealer in Mumbai and he said he doesnt have old stock :( and they never offered such deals on old stock.

I'm also missing the fuel consumption I was looking forward to. Maruti customer care told me it's a known app bug.

Has anyone installed a Bosch TPMS system?

As I said it’s just my speculation that since Invicto is not a true Suzuki product maybe the integration with Suzuki connect is not perfect.
If it’s a bug then that’s good because trip wise fuel efficiency is pretty useful.

This is definitely a deal dear that makes the segment of a car that you just bought, a true value for money car. You are getting more space (and FE) than Mahindras and Tatas. Better niggle free experience, of course not to forget a better after sales only second to Toyota for the same segment.

I am waiting eagerly for the day when I am going to pick mine as well .

A big congrats.

Have many happy and safe miles ahead.

Re: Maruti Invicto Review

For quite sometime I've been confused where to spend 30l. I've been muddled in my head with Safari, 7OO,Roxx, used Tucson and awaiting Astor Hybrid.

Seeing that the Invicto can be had for the same amount has really inspired me to work on this. Luckily, I too have a LDH connection and we have previously bought 4 Maruti cars from Gulzar and Hoshiarpur.
Thanks for your thread, it will surely help Maruti unload a few more of these cars!

I really never even considered Mahindra or Tata.
I’ve driven a lot of models from both the brands, but once you are accustomed to the hassle free life with a Japanese brand you just can’t go any other way. There are a lot of bugs/niggles in both these brand’s flagship vehicles, that just make the ownership experience sour. In short, I feel that the cars still feel unfinished and the vehicle owner is somewhat a beta tester.

Ive been in the same situation for the past 2 years or so.
I looked at almost all the available and upcoming cars irrespective of the segment.
New car prices were so high that I even considered second hand cars - took a friend’s Honda Civic for a ~1000 km drive and fell in love with it in the initial 10 km or so only. But finding a clean one was a big task. I just told myself that I’ll buy it from him once he’s ready to sell.

But when I drove my friends Hycross, I knew then clearly that at this time, it’s the best new car to purchase. And I was not alone as Hycross was TeamBhp COTY too. So clearly many people shared the same thought. The model to get was the ZXO with ADAS but the price was too high for my comfort and it kept increasing.

This Invicto deal truly came at a great price and the correct time and helped me conclude my search for a new car.

PS- I still might consider picking up that Civic as a replacement for my City. It’s just that good!

Re: Maruti Invicto Review

Invicto typically sells <500 cars per month. This is tiny compared to Innova which sells 9000 per month.

Is this a function of Marutis limitation to push more >30 lac cars ? Or is there a production constraint?
