The OTRs* shared by the dealer I have have booked the Jimny with is as follows:
  1. Alpha 4AT (Dual Tone) - 17,97,954
  2. Alpha 4AT - 17,79,086
  3. Zeta 4AT - 16,67,047
  4. Alpha MT (Dual Tone) - 16,56,435
  5. Alpha MT - 16,37,567
  6. Zeta MT - 15,25,528
For some reason I was unable to attach the whole pdf from my phone. Hope this gives you some indication of OTR prices and helps you making your decision.
* These rates include a whole gamut of charges for e.g. insurance, Fastag, extended warranty, CCP Gold, TCS etc.

TIA
Same issue here. Cancelled on 30 May and still following up with Nexa and the dealer. Email Nexa with the cancellation acknowledgement if you've got that over email. I got the cancellation acknowledgement and the error message simultaneously.

Re: Maruti Jimny Review

As most of you probably know the 3-door variant of the current Jimny received a 3-star crash test rating in the Euro NCAP test in 2018.

Euro NCAP is slightly different from the more well-known Global NCAP as Euro NCAP tests include full frontal, front offset, side-impact, and side pole tests, whereas the Global NCAP ratings are based only on front offset crash tests.

The Jimny received 73% for adult occupants, 84% for child occupants, and 52% for vulnerable road users. The safety score may not be applicable for the Indian variant as we don't get the Autonomous braking and forward collision warning system.

Just as a point of reference Jeep Wrangler received a 1-star rating from the Euro NCAP.

Mahindra Thar did receive 4 stars at Global NCAP but as has been mentioned Global NCAP differs substantially from Euro NCAP testing methodology and stringency.

The 5-door variant is likely to get a different crash test rating in Global NCAP for the reasons stated above. We will know more if and when Global NCAP does carry out the crash test for the 5-door variant of the Jimny.

4. Luggage Hook - Rs 200 (4x200= Rs 800)
5. Fog Lamp - Rs 4800
I am not impressed by the all weather mats provided by Maruti. On the driver side especially they are small and do not sit well and keep moving around. I am looking to replace them with better off market ones when they become available, hopefully soon.

The seat covers are good and they contour on the side for airbags. I would also recommend the side rugged door cladding since it gives a better look and looks factory fitted.

Re: Maruti Jimny Review

Hi,

All Jimnyists who have taken delivery, have a query especially for the MT owners, I am feeling the engine is a little rough and noisy when compared to other Japanese cars and feel its not revving freely there is too much friction and vibration and the car is not rolling freely, feels like driving the Gypsy 30 years back, was expecting more refinement, am the only one feeling it?

Jimny is RWD and 4x4 vehicle with many more moving mechanicals. Hence you may feel difference with other usual front wheel drive cars of MSIL.

Vibration of the MT gear lever - yes, many have mentioned in the reviews. But, other stuff like roughness, noisy, not revving freely, friction, not rolling freely, at least i have not heard in any of the reviews. Hope, by mistake it is not in any 4WD mode. Just check it up.

I see. Thank you for the input. Yes, you are right. I am warming up to the side cladding. Does look nice. Maybe that and the front grill might be only cosmetic upgrades that I will ever do. May not go for seat covers as I don't like them in general. I prefer to use cotton towels instead. Sarkari style.

WRT to all weather mats; don't they have two pin holes (two plastic knobs) at the back to keep them planted to the floor?

Fixed rear defogger wire covers. They will protect the exposed wires.

If possible, please share where you've bought them from. Thank you.

Re: Maruti Jimny Review

I bought from Ubuy. Country selected - Japan. You will get many options but all are almost same. So no need to go for a expensive one.
