Have a question for people staying in Bengaluru. Anyone faced issues with Ground Clearance in day to day travel?

In Specification its 165 MM and it doesn't look great on picture but wanted to know feedback.

It's the only point keeping me in confusion whether to look for SUV.

And I felt Creta is Expensive with the Turbo DCT version.

I use the verna in Chennai and not scrapped the bottom even once. With the kind of construction going on, I did have initial feat but that is gone now. Will let the bangalore folks add on

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

I have question on how the ISG works ? I have a verna Sx (o)

When I stop at a signal, i usually have the auto-hold switched on. When I continue to hold the brake, only then ISG works, the very second I remove my feet, the car switches on. This defeats the autohold.

Are you shifting to N? I have been doing that and car will turn-on the moment I let go the brake pedal.
Try keeping the car in D mode. Then, let go the brake pedal (with auto hold engaged).

Two folks easy peezy, fully loaded, got to be careful then. I have managed to scrape it with 4ppl onboard and no luggage. Same breaker with controlled speed, it went smooth.

I have taken the car with three folks and luggage over speed breakers at speed of 70kmph (by accident) and it did not scrape.

So i would say the car has decent GC.

This works as you said ! Thank you.

I had a scary situation when the automatic emergency brake triggered when I was coming down a fly-over. I would have been around 30-35 kms speed only but since an auto had cut in between and then slowed down, when the trigger happenned.

THere was one two wheeler behind me who narrowly avoided me. Is there a way to switch of this automatic breaking or atleast reduce the intensity ?

You can change the reaction time to be delayed. You can also switch off forward collision completely.
These options are in the driver assistance menu.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

Took the car over a long distance family trip from Hyderabad -> Horsley Hills -> Kanchipuram and then Chennai.

This is such a lovely car on the highways.
The only headache is keeping the speed under control as it zips up so fast.

The ventilated seats make even the intense heat bearable.

Loved driving to Horsley hills with the sunroof open. Car did not scrape anything anywhere. Only need to keep the speed low when going over the speed breakers.

Not specific to Verna DCT but any friend of mine who is buying a car will get a load of how important it is to buy an automatic. Truly makes a world of difference.

I use "70mai Pro Plus+ A500S Dual Channel Car Dash Cam, 2.7K, 5MP IMX335 Sensor, ADAS, Built-in GPS Logger, Route Recorder, App Playback & Share, Optional Parking Monitoring".

Quite easy to install and am quite happy with its quality.

Sample video with both front and rear coverage uploaded into youtube:

The actual quality is a little better than the downgrading that youtube does to it.

I feel this is more than adequate for our regular use.

Thanks. I think it is Li Ion battery. Is it safe for super hot weather at Chennai? any other suggestions?

My car has been parked in the open all day today at Adyar (Chennai).

Today was one of the hottest days in Chennai.

Hyderabad where I reside is significantly hotter and I have not had any issues so far.

But disclaimer...Its worked for me. I can't vouch for you or anyone else.

I use ddpai z40 that uses a capacitor instead of Li ion battery.
There’s a new version out now, Z50. You can check that.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

Greetings,
Got my car serviced a couple of days back (3rd service). Along with that I had requested the service centre to do a wheel rotation with alignment and balancing. The next day I noticed that the steering wheel is titled a bit to the right when going in straight line, took it back to the service centre yesterday and got alignment done again and also reset the steering angle sensor but looks like the problem isn't solved. The wheel is again titled to the right, not sure where the problem lies... Something to do with the alignment equipment or the car?

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

Have been facing a weird issue with the suspension setup. On turns, the car has been feeling wobbly (left <-> right). Kinda like how we shake our heads. Even when I close the door with a thud, it wobbles a bit.

Is it normal? The car has done around 2k and don't think this was the case earlier, or maybe I'm just feeling it now. Kinda confused.
