Easiest option is book from “My Hyundai India” app.
Thanks for the details. I will try to fix up the appointment before I leave for the trip.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

Hi folks,

I am planning to install these projectors as fog lamps. I am aware of the warranty issues but I don't have a choice as I need better lighting since I am planning for a road trip.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

My initial thoughts on the Verna's LED headlights- they are adequate for moderate speeds . I feel they are a bit better than my erstwhile Creta's trio- beam lamps. The cornering lamps are excellent, and pretty useful. Do I miss foglamps? Dont know, waiting for other users experiences.

I enquired about additional lighting as the stock ones are pathetic. For now i have adjusted the height of beam. Any modification inside the actual headlight dome will strip off the warranty. Aux fogs are the only option left as it is a plug and play type system which won't tamper with original wires. I was told that they need to be placed below the number plate on the front grille. But a 3" fog would require a section of the front grille to be cut for the projectors to fit in.

Keep us updated on the progress. Looking forward to it.

Thanks for your suggestion. There was a problem in fixing the fog lamp as the time was very limited for me as I am going on a road trip next week. Hence, I thought I would try the aux lamps and so went with Hella Black Magic 3.2 Spot beam - https://amzn.eu/d/d9izEVP
Got the lights directly from a vendor through my friend who installed the lights too. I am very happy with the performance of the lights. Light throw is awesome but I think I should try different angles before the trip to confirm the correct angle. My intention is to use them only when needed and not to blind others.

Bayview garage helped me on time to fix this ASAP and it is a pretty neat setup too.

Attaching few pictures here.

Did you get the front red fin / liner and the rim protector as Hyundai accessories or aftermarket? Looks really neat. I am thinking of going in for these too.

Also, have you installed a similar red liner for the rear too?

Also, does anyone know if the 12v socket in the 2023 Verna have continuous power or only when the ignition is turned on? My dash cam will be connected to the socket but I don’t want it to be plugged and unplugged every time I get into the vehicle.

Regards

This modification is giving the Verna the real old-school sports-car vibe. You could almost pass it off for a early 90s Toyota Supra ! Where do you have the switch placed for those lights btw ?

Aerofin is from Hyundai and the middle line is a sticker. My friend added those stickers (front, wheels) and rim protectors.

12V socket seems to have continuous power supply. Please check page 5-87 in the manual (PDF). Here is an image as well.

I have placed the switch near the steering as of now since I don't want to make any holes anywhere.

Can you please photos of the car from the sides and the front during day time? I'm also contemplating on getting it. Motofocusz in Chennai said they are going to come up with something soon for the Verna, they've already got the Seltos figured out but I don't know how long this might take.

Looks so cool...like a rally car light in that position. Looking forward to hearing your feedback after driving for a bit at night. Can you attach some pics from inside the cabin at night with lights on. How much did the setup cost?

I enquired with motofocusz a few weeks back. I was told if they have enough interests for Verna they might do it but I was told it isn't going to happen anytime too, I was the first one to ask about it apparently. Even if they go ahead with it I would assume it will take atleast a year before it comes out.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

Hello Guys, After a considerable wait and cancelling my Virtus GT Plus booking, went ahead with booking the new verna, SX(O) 1.5 Turbo DCt variant. Booked the white color as my wife liked it more.
My first choise for color was white(for VW too I wanted the Candy White) but for verna I wanted to opt for the Titan Grey,, anyways went ahead with the "Atlas White" option. TBH I was a VAG driver and never used to think of orther brands that much just coz of safety but I always loved the i20 interiors from 2015 when I got my Polo Highline. This time also I booked VW Virtus GT Plus but due to dealership issues I cancelled it, this was at the start of the year and now again i was about to take it but due to some circumstances again I had to shy away from that, seems like God have something else stored for me...

Why I am posting, is to seek the forum's advice on "Cernamic Coating" for my "soon to be expected" car and is it worth going with the dealership for the same or it's better to go with a outside detailing studio? Please advice. Thanks in advance!!!

If you are going with white colour, is there a point in going with ceramic coating? I have no clue how much gloss will be lost without it. Maybe use that money to give a proper wax detailing every 4-5 months or PPF for bumper and bonnet areas so that you can escape from minor chippings, bikers and kids-induced damages.
For ceramic coating and PPF, it is better to go with a specialized detailing studio

Is the sticker at the front done using a tape? Can you share some details of the tape used and how would it handle the elements of weather? Also, how did you black out the chrome on the front .... painted over?

Got it. Should have checked the manual in the first place.

Thanks and regards.

Are the headlamps really that bad? I too am going on a road trip this Saturday and this makes me a bit apprehensive.
