I have faced the exact issue. You need to get the 12V battery replaced with a new one (Amaron I presume).

I have detailed my experience in post number 2963 in this thread.
I had tried to get the dealer to change the battery but they said the issue was with wiring and has been fixed. I am monitoring the battery levels; it has been ok for now. Will surely fight for a battery change if the problem occurs again.

Yes, you will need to fight for the battery change.
The first time for me, they said I am the problem (my driving style, not locking the car etc)
The second time they took the battery and diagnosed that the acid levels had fallen and simply topped up the acid.
The third time around they gave me a temporary battery and ran diagnostics on my battery for 8 days concluding that Amaron had agreed that it’s a faulty piece and would replace it under warranty.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Has anyone been able to source the Modellista side moulds for the Zenix in India? Looks are subjective but I think these would look a lot better than the ones sold in India which are too '1990s' and have that hideous chrome on them.

Posting a YouTube link here
I hope these come to India soon.

What wires did they change? Complete BS, if there was a problem with the wires, they wouldn’t be able to jump start it and have it work perfectly well. Push for them to replace the 12V battery or do it yourself. You might end up stranded the 2nd day of a long trip.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Does the Hycross have UV cut IR glasses? Similar to what is offered in Seltos?

If not, how are you guys managing the heat radiating through the windshield?

Only top end variant has IR cut glasses, I went with Stek action series 80 for front and side windows and sunroof for my VX(O) and it is working wonders.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

I know many of us here have been talking about DTE issues, but I have been continuously getting 749kms as the DTE when I fill fuel (auto cut-off method).
But the main issue for me is that when I fill fuel in my vehicle, even when the DTE is showing me 10 kms left, it will only take 42-43 litres!
I was reading the specification sheet and the fuel tank capacity is 52 litres.
I am not sure if DTE is being shown incorrectly or the fuel tank capacity is indeed 42-43 litres.
Please share if any of you have observed similar numbers for their Hybrid variants.

Some additional details -
Fuel filled: Power95
Fuel type recommended: E10
Model details: March 2023 VX (8 seater)

It is completely normal, I have also observed it takes around 40-42 litres it is because the reserve tank capacity is around 10L.
So total 10L+42L =52L

This seems very unproductive.
I am scampering to fill fuel when the DTE shows less than 20 kms.
I fill only Power95 and had to make do with normal petrol, even worrying if it is E20!
Anyone has run the car till the absolute end of it when it died and took the entire 52 litres?

Does this apply only to the front windshield?

As far as my understanding goes, this is for the windshield. Not sure about the rest of the glass.

Saw this video form Zig wheels where they compare Hybrid and Non Hybrid Hycross
They stop at DTE zero and fill up around 47 ltr .
This has around 5 litres in reserve and the mileage of their car is 18 kmpl.
DTE will depend on the mileage you are getting out of your car ,hence the variations in DTE and tank reserve quantities.

Looks like ZX variant by looking at the black cladding on wheels.

Anyway, congratulations and welcome to Hycross club.

Update on our Hycross:

Got the approval from the insurance and my ASC will be replacing the parts that are impacted like knuckle, shock absorber, alloy wheel rim.

Will be getting the car next week.
