Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Hi all,

I am having bad experience with Mandovi yelahanka bangalore. I booked brezza ZXI MT on 3rd Sept. They were giving vague reasons on delivery date. Sales person is Ms. Jayapradha and Mr. Srinivas.

So recently i decided to cancel my booking and sent mail to sales3@mandovi.in along with cancelled cheque for refund. They said , they will refund within 10 days. On 10th day, when i enquired, they started saying due to mail server issue, they didnot receive my cancellation mail. So i took them to task and they were apologetic. Sent them cheque via whatsapp and then they filled cancellation form and sent it to their head office. They requested one more week time. I am not sure whether they will come up with new excuses. Is there any way to escalate the matter to mandovi higher ups or maruti , so that these folks learn the lessons.

Here you go. The 1st 3 are in Flash and the other 4 in natural light. Let me know if you want closeups.

Not sure if you have gone ahead with your cancellation. I would suggest reaching out to Vinay. He is the sales manager in yelahanka branch and he helped out with my delivery. He should be able to help with your booking or cancellation.

I went ahead with cancellation , not just because of delayed delivery , but due to some personal reasons as well. Please share vinay's number , i will reach out to him.

Congratulations and welcome to the Brezza Club

Also as per your picture you have gone in for accessories - company ones provided by dealer ? If so which package did you opt for?

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

In boot space, Brezza uses some absolutely unrequired buttons. Case in point:

1. Boot lamp operated via On/off button: This should have been automatic. After one gets out all the bags, there is a high possibility that the boot lamp will be forgotten. And this being a classic yellow lamp (not LED), this will steadily drain power overnight. I remember seeing this lamp automatically switching on once the boot is open. Not in Brezza!

2. Boot opening having separate lock button: In all cars, one button on boot unlocks and opens the boot. But in Brezza, a smaller button is used to unlock the boot, and then the main button to open it.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Hi, have been unsuccessful in getting a single test drive of the Automatic version. Have contacted all dealers ( Mandovi, Varun, Kalyani etc) in Central bangalore, none of them seem to have the automatic variant. They have the MT for test drive.
Has anyone been able to get a test drive? If so, please share details of the dealer, SA? Thanks in advance

As far as I know, if you keep it on and shut the boot door, it turns off. Just like the driver and passanger cabin lights.

I contacted Kalyani motors @ Nayandahalli circle. They were quite responsive, but struggled to give me a Automatic-car test drive. They gave a host of reasons from "test drive car got damaged" to "test drive car extremely busy".

Out of the blue, they called me (3 weeks after I initially contacted them), and said they will arrange for door-step test drive for automatic. This time they came through and they were at my house at exact time they had intimated. They a brought a spotless Red zxi+ AT variant.

Had a pleasant discussion with the executive during the test drive. He patiently answered all my questions. He said he can realistically deliver the car in 4 months after booking. He also mentioned he gets two cancellations per week due to delays.

All-in-all was impressed with the car. Awaiting test drives of couple of more cars before booking.
