I posses VXI too, just replaced my halogen from the projector with 110w Philipps LED, because it performs better than the halogen one.

You can switch to 50w 4300k LEDs from Osram/Philips in your projectors for a considerably better output. But don't expect this setup to beat your projector headlight + projector fog light combo.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

I am planning to take delivery of Brezza VXI AT next week, and have some doubts about what accessories to take and from where. Sharing accessories I am planning to take and my thoughts below, based on previous discussions in this thread. It would help if experienced car owners could offer suggestions or correct me, if wrong anywhere:
  1. Fog Lamp : Not sure how much this will be of use in Pune, but I want to take it mainly to avoid the incomplete look with the plastic placeholders, in absence of the lamps. There have been suggestions to go for third party fog lamps, instead of the OEM ones. Can anyone share brand/model and approx price ?
  2. Reverse parking camera : Going for the OEM one, not sure about better options. My dealer said it will be installed on the bumper, which may not look good. Has anyone got it installed above the number plate, where the factory fitted camera is installed on ZXI variant ?
  3. Dashcam : Maruti offers one for 5k, that has 720p resolution, not sure about the features. Thinking of going for a different brand, which may be more VFM, especially since it can be easily plugged in, so no risk of voiding warranty. If anyone has tried the OEM camera, it would help if you can share your feedback on it.
  4. Body side molding : Dealer suggested to take it, as it could avoid scratches/dents on the doors. It doesnt look very good IMO, but I can go for it, if it does help.
  5. Rear parcel tray
  6. Door visor
  7. 3D floor mat : Can anyone comment on the quality of mats provided by Maruti ? Saw some posts recommending other brands.
  8. Mud flap
  9. Steering cover
  10. Seat covers : Any better options than what Maruti offers ?

Would you suggest adding/subtracting any accessories from experience ?

In general, I would prefer going with what is offered by dealer, unless there is a superior product available for a lower price, simply for the ease of installation by the dealer.

Which 0W16 Engine oil are you using in your Brezza car?

Not getting much of an option for 0W16 engine oil in the market other than Castrol.

Better not to get any sunfilm installed if you are in Delhi. Get a rolling mesh type curtain instead.

I got it installed above the number plate in my vxi AT. Check with the accessories guy in the dealership. If he also opts for installation on bumper, don't get it installed and check with another dealer.

Yes, apparently there are two options for the reverse parking camera, the higher priced one is installed above number plate. The salesperson was not aware but the accessories guy could confirm.

I'd rather advise to get a good dual channel dashcam from outside. Check the dashcam thread on this forum.

Most of the accidents I've been in are generally at the height where an errant motorcycle's handlebar meets my car. Moulding doesn't cover that. Side moulding in essence is meant to be aesthetically pleasing and doesn't protect your car from damage nearly enough. I also personally feel that the cladding is overpriced, overhyped and is probably the first to peel off with age.

Castrol Magnatec 0W16 is one of the better oils there are. I was unable to find similar 0W16 oil in Shell or Mobil in shops.

That said, the Ecstar 0W16, made by Idemitsu and sold by Suzuki itself, is not bad at all. I stopped trying to get 0W16 from famous brands when Ecstar just about does the job without any fuss.

Yeah, I didnt take the side moulding or cladding. The sales folks also tried to sell the side steps, with the argument that it would prevent bikers from getting too close
And the underbody spoiler for front and back, so that it would prevent the body from any stones or scraping. I replied that the car already has a plastic cladding at bottom, on all sides, plus the spoilers dont look good IMO. I think they got a bit irritated and dropped the sales pitch after that.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Hi folks. There seems to be a problem with my car. My mileage is stuck at 13.6, be it within the city or out on the highway. Not sure what is wrong. Experienced members may help.

Reset the FE and recheck. Else you can check with tank full to tank full method which actually gives the correct figure.

I have set the fuel economy trip meter to recalibrate every time I fill the fuel.
Settings > Fuel Economy - Reset after refuelling.

But the trip meters have to be set manually using the left stalk.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Does anyone know how to open the plastic panels on the door interior side of the front as well as rear door or even better if anyone has the service manual of the new Brezza? I want to replace the speakers.
