I get between 9-11 kmpl in Hyderabad city based on the traffic. On highway runs its anywhere between 13-16 kmpl depending on how I exercise my right foot.

In city I am getting 11-12 kmpl and 12-13 kmpl on the highways.

Experienced 13-14kmpl on highways if cruising between 80-100 kmph.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

Need some suggestion. I have been using the standard petrol from Indian oil however one of my friends who owns XUV700 Petrol model has been recommending me to try Indian Oil XP95. Has anyone tried any of premium petrol be it XP95 or Speed from HP & do you see any benefit?

I have done a couple of thankful's of XP95 on my Scorpio N, frankly speaking haven't seen any noticeable improvement except minor improvement in low end response of vehicle.
Even this I am not sure if really was a improvement or just a placebo effect.

Go ahead and try once and let feel for yourself.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

My Scorpio N Xplore, i could feel the vibration after 110kmh in highway with smooth road surface, it is not looking normal, the vibration coming everywhere, to driver seat, passenger seat also.
Is it normal in Scorpio N, i did not feel this in my other cars like New Safari or Fortuner.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

Got the Scorpio refuelled yesterday. Gabbar retuned 14.92 KM on this tankful with a mix of highway and city driving. The low temperatures in NCR mean that the AC is not being used most of the time. One observation on the real time fuel efficiency read out is that I get better fuel efficiency in city driving than on the highway even though I don’t really exceed 100 KMPH .

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

Terrible experience today. My friend's father is retiring from a government office, and as a retirement gift, they bought a Scorpio-N Z8 AT last month. Today, after the office farewell, we were returning home. My friend was driving, I was in the passenger seat and his father and one more elder were in the back seat. We were driving at around 90 km/hr and suddenly, all the screens went blank. My friend, the driver, panicked and braked hard. I was a bit shocked but I could understand his reaction. Thankfully, no one was behind us. We parked the car on the side, calmed ourselves down and restarted the car after 5 minutes. This time, I drove the car and it drove fine. We all went home and started preparing for the night time celebrations. My friend, who had to use the car multiple times to ferry guests, said that the same thing happened 3 more times, while the vehicle was running at around 50-60km/hr. Our nearby Mahindra a.s.s is clueless, they keep telling him to just restart the vehicle. The car is 6 weeks old and around 5k kms run.

Happened to me 2-3 times.
I have learnt to ignore all this post reading all the issues reported in the forum.
Once suddenly my fuel dropped to empty and DEF to 12% after parking the car for 15 minutes . Then I drove the car for 30 kms the fuel came back to 75% and DEF 42% .

I know this is not expected but ScorpioN has alot of software glitches and I have learnt to live with this. The ASS guys are also clueless, as Scorpio jumped few generations, they remained with the older one.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

I have experienced this screen going blank a few times. Once on a long trip when suddenly the screen went blank. I did not do any panic braking but kept on driving although at a lower speed. The screen came back after a min or so as if nothing had happened.

Other times it was when the car was almost stationary or was just started.

Yesterday I started getting the hill descent warning also after the screen went blank.

But these things go away if you shut down the car for a few minutes and restart.

I have started to live with them as they are not stopping me from driving the vehicle.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

The screen blank issue happened once or twice for me, when I called out to Alexa while Apple Car Play was on. The screen came back on when we restarted.
In recent times this has not happened to me.

I have not faced this issue in my 4xplor in 26K+ kms of driving. I would suspect a wheel balancing issue but please do check with the service center.

The car keeps driving fine even when the screens go blank. You did the right thing.

Yup. The ASS guys have no clue, and I have not seen any pattern for when these errors happen for them to replicate the issue.

Yup. The system reboots on its own. I also get the hill descent control sign on when that happens. Just shut down the engine and restart.

I don’t use Alexa, only Siri (I think).
My last incident happened 2 weeks back when I was slowing down to stop at a red light.

Is it possible for excessive vibration to result from wheel balancing? To my knowledge, improper wheel balancing typically leads to steering vibration beyond a specific speed threshold.

I've noticed that when I increase the engine RPM while stationary, there's no vibration. However, it only occurs when I surpass 110 KMPH. Could this be attributed to worn-out bushes? The car has logged 21k and is a pre-owned vehicle., the vibration is everywhere.
