Separate from CarPlay, for me, Android Auto has never worked with wire.

It only works on Bluetooth.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong or its an AA problem.

Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Try with a different/new cable. I was initially using the same cable that I had in the Vento. Would not connect 7/10 times and then after a day or so, absolutely refused to connect.

Tried using the cable from the charger at home and it worked.

Where did you pick them up from? If it was from an online site, do share.

Unfortunately not, I got them from a physical store here in Chandigarh and were for around 4000 rupees.

I bought the same from a site called carhatke. Costs a bit more than the offline option though.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

Anyone facing network issues with Adrenox? It is so unreliable and connects only when it want to work. It is absolutely good feature, but useless when it paired with Vodafone eSim connection. Vodafone doesnt catch signals even in main areas of city and inturn limiting the Alexa capabilities. Surprisingly MAhindra customer service is claiming that eSim is standardised across all of their vehicles. What is the point of pairing with unstable network and calling it as standardised?

This has been a real issue with all Adrenox equipped vehicles. Mahindra should have tied up either with Airtel or BSNL. Current provider Vodafone has a lot of network issues. Coverage is sparse across India which makes the feature useless most of the time. It was one of the reasons for not choosing Z6, and opting for Z4 AT.

Most of the ScorpioN owners seem to be moved from either Duster or Ecosport. I replaced my Ecosport and have seen some popular ScorpioN reviewers in Youtube have their Ecosport videos in the past. One thing for sure in common is the rigidness. As you said correctly, its a perfect UPGRADE from car to CAR.

The look and purpose I've been waiting for! Mean, capable and purposeful ! Kindly share the tyre and rim specs and from where you procured them. Also, she seems to be sitting higher than stock? Or is it just the picture?

Let’s see how it holds up on longer drives.
Connection continues to be flaky. Audio quality is better and more stable in Bluetooth mode, with frequent interruptions and some static when in wired mode.
CarPlay often doesn't even connect after starting up the vehicle. Have to unplug and reattach cables and sometimes restart the device or the car for the connection to get established.
Both modes result in phone (iPhone XS) overheating after 45+ mins use.

Have escalated the issue to M&M. Let's see...

Did you get any further updates from Mahindra on this issue?

Any good recommendations for the same in Bangalore? Thanks.
I have done Ceramic Coating instead of PPF for my White Z8L D AT. For lighter colours, PPF tends to turn a bit yellow over time. The Ceramic Coating was primarily for ease of keeping the car clean and washing.

The coating was done at Bubbles Car & Bike Spa in J.P. Nagar. I have gotten all my cars detailed there over the last 2 years and my 9 year old XUV 500 still shines like new today.

Do check them out and have a word with Suhas who runs the place. He is a thorough professional and gives the right advice.

Regards,
Adarsh
