Needs to get it checked
I have the same issue in my GLE 400d. Akshaya motors told me it was a windscreen issue and they did some polishing of windshield covered in warranty. It had gone away for a few months but the shuddering is back again. Do let me know if you are able to fins a solution for this. I am planning to change the wiper blades but not sure if that will help.

20" rims are silly and impractical in India. We ended up with a damaged tyre in Lonavala.

Had a blowout a couple of days ago some 55km outside of Chennai on my S400d late in the evening.

Now I am thinking of changing my wheels, should I:

1. downsizing the wheels to 19"
2. Downsize to 18" (no 285mm option tyres for rear just 255, no AMG OEM alloys available)
3. Increase rubber profile from 40&35 to 45&40, would this void my warranty, given the amount of electronics in the car, not sure if that's a good idea?

What should I do?
Thanks in advance.

.
Just ensure the correct wheel circumference is coded in the tool into the car. Otherwise you might have some issues.

Downsized to 19” AMG alloys, there is a marked difference in ride quality, feels a bit less connected to drive, but don’t notice any lack in handling except reduced confidence.

These set my back by about ₹6 lakh, I guess that’s small car’s worth!

By the way any leads where I can sell my 8500km old alloys, with tyres (1 Tyre is only 500km old?)
