Quick update: Logging out and logging back in solved this issue in my case. I was also able to recharge my Fastag with Rs.100 and the same is now reflecting in the Adrenox Connect app too.

I am just going through the thread now. Not sure if you have already got the Active Sub installed. However active sub is very good option, would also suggest Damping sheets for doors which will reduce the distortion & improve NVH level.

I have faced an issue in my XUV 500 with FOB key, whenever I parked it at one particular position it would never unlock. Any other location I never faced this issue. Initially I complained this to the ASC but couldn't recreate the issue at their service center so they just didn't believe me. I recorded the video at home when this happened again and shared it. But they couldn't figure out the root cause. Issue has occur only in dense residential places couple of other places other than my house. I think this might be some Wifi router in the vicinity interfering at that particular position.

So after purchasing a new car as per the service advisor's suggestion, I rubbed tobacco on the wires and have kept pouches of tobacco wrapped in muslin cloth at some places.

Till now I have not faced an issue again. You may want to try it.
I had issue with rat bites in XUV500 & Bolero, tried lot of options nothing worked. Everyday morning if I open the bonnet of Bolero would see lot of hay & fruits or other food it would collect near the battery or the other side near the wiper water container. Only solution currently working is fresh tobacco leaf. It keeps them away for few days till the Tobacco leaf has strong smell.

I too faced the same issue. I had parked underneath a transformer when this issue of the car not unlocking occurred to me. But after a couple of minutes of continuously trying, it suddenly worked. The issue hasn't reoccurred since. This happened about 4 months back.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Seems there is an undercurrent of disappointment with Mahindra for not making XUV 700 and Scorpio-N available for the armed forces through CSD. Many personnel are voicing criticism on social media.

Mahindra has introduced XUV 700( AX5 MT, AX7L D MT &AT, AX7 P AT) , Scorpio N and XUV 400 for CSD on 11 Jan 2024..Late better than never

Can any one shed light on the ability to add ventilated seats and automatic IRVM on the existing cars at service center level?

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

It would be great if we can retrofit captain seats and ventilated seats into existing vehicles.

I think Mahindra should provide that as an option. Ventilated seats can be pretty costly as the front seats carry side airbags too.

This is the million dollar question! Although driving AX7L for over 12k km now, 95% of the times I don't miss any of these features, but still if they are offered retrospectively now (Auto dimming IRVM, Ventilated seats) at reasonable price I would go for it.

Some dealers are mentioning that it is possible, but will be expensive as one may have to replace the entire seat assembly.

Memory ORVM seems to be very much possible as the seat memory module is a plug and play one.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

How to turn off the 'Service Due Reminder' alert? The third service was completed a month back but now I am getting the alert. Unfortunately Mahindra service centers in Tamilnadu are closed for few days for Pongal.

It's a shame that the 2024 XUV7OO still doesn't get the auto dimming IRVM.

Wonder what's keeping Mahindra from offering such a basic feature in a ₹34L car.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

I'm still confused with the variant breakup. They're offering a 7 seater Automatic in AX5 diesel variant but not in petrol? That's too silly!

Yea, I too think we are overlooking something. I think it is more of a they can't than they won't. Note, they have auto dimming IRVMs for XUV300 and XUV400, but not on XUV700 or Scorpio N. I am wondering whether the ADAS camera module of XUV700 poses any challenge for wiring or fitting an auto dimming IRVM.

This is the feature I miss the most in XUV700. Having used it before, I just cannot get used with the anti-glare capabilities of the manual mirror. Also, the fixed flip is not aligned based on how I place the seat; I have to adjust the mirror each time I flip between ant-glare mode and normal mode. To top all that, the finish and size of the manual IRVM itself is bad. It just covers the rear windshield if you push the seats back and also vibrates providing an unsteady view on highways unless the road is butter smooth. The finish on the edges looks like some aftermarket accessory!

Even if they cannot provide an auto-dimming IRVM, they need to provide at least a good quality manual IRVM!
