Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Can someone who got an AX7 confirm which are the 6 speakers it got? I have been trying to find out about this for a while but couldn't find any articles or videos that can confirm this.

I am assuming four door speakers and two tweeters near the A-Pillar. But then the woofer mesh near the third row and the mesh on top of the center console are dummy?

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

This is my first post in this Forum . Thanks to mods for accepting my membership request.

I have been looking for a 7 Seater SUV south of 30L for quite long now. The only other vehicle coming close to XUV700 was Safari but upgrading from my current Zest, i couldn't find massive improvement in the interiors ( Gold versions excluded here). So closed my eyes and booked the AX7 L D AT AWD White on 7th October via Dealer ( Anant cars) . After their goof up on the email address, got an initial mail with a delivery date of 7th Feb 2022. Nothing on the website though. But on 26th Nov, their website updated with a new delivery date of 17th-22nd March. Not sure which one to consider now. I don't see much options here, and looking at the delivery dates for some here, it seems I am still getting it early. Fingers crossed

You are not alone, mate. I have been asking this to everyone who has bought the non luxury variant and none have an idea about this. I even reached out to their customer care and after 20 mins of waiting, the executive said the speakers will be Sony too. But I am not so sure about it. Because the speaker grills don’t have the Sony tag

On the speaker count, you are right. 4 speakers on the doors and 2 tweeters near the A pillar. The centre dashboard slot and the rear side mesh are dummies. You can upgrade the system whenever you want.

Hello bhpians.

After scouring through a few videos on YouTube managed to find this video by Overdrive where the point I had mentioned earlier can be seen at the 8:09 mark.

If fellow bhpians can find more such videos please do share them here.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

At last the MX variant shows up.

If it had ESP and rear wash/wipe, would be THE variant to go for. So VFM, it makes the Harrier XE seem overpriced.

Such a refreshing sight in these times. Hope the next gen Scorpio comes with an instrument cluster like this, but with navigation/maps view in the MID screen too.

Are both of these Petrol vehicles ? If it was diesel would be interesting to know about the DPF filter issues they faced

My bad. I had dismissed this video just by looking at the thumbnail, especially the wheel cover, and guessing it would be one of the numerous clickbaity videos that just keep on showing official visuals.

Didn't know it was SVP's video, that too the 155bhp tune diesel.

Yes, they have stated in the video that both vehicles were 2wd petrol AT cars. I think this was done specifically to avoid DPF issues and potential breakdowns at high altitude .

Blatantly rampant dubious practices. Quite appalled to see people openly posting such things. Definitely some elements are hand-in-glove with dealers.

It's just some person wanting an early delivery by paying a premium, nothing about dealer is mentioned. Although I'm sure some dealers must be offering early deliveries at a premium either directly or indirectly through inflated accessories/insurance.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Anyone who has NOT received a tentative date of delivery yet?

I contacted Mahindra's Customer Care yesterday and they said the next list will come out on the 10th of December.

I booked a Midnight Black AX7L Diesel Auto (FWD) on the 8th of October and I’m yet to receive any communication regarding the tentative delivery timeline. People have already received dates of until December 2022 which in itself is mind boggling, let’s see what they say for the remaining bookings.
