This is a demo car which bmw gallops Ahmedabad is putting on sale. I negotiate the price but the dealer is not budging below 37 lacs OTR. (Take it or leave it attitude) The car has only done 4500 kms. Do you think this is a good deal ?
There is no stock of BMW 330i sport variant and likely will be not available until the end year with production disruption as per the SA.

I wish I could see it in person to give a more definitive answer. But yes, prima facie, I like it. At that price, I like it a lot. I'd consider it very seriously. You would be the first owner, I assume? That's a positive too.

Ask them for a documented check-up of the car, so you know its health. And if you do go for it, get as comprehensive a BSI pack as you can, and extend the warranty to the fullest.

Yes indeed, i will be the first owner.
Checked the car history at the showroom looks fine and got it checked by a fellow enthusiast friend who give it a thumps up. Wanted a opinion from Bhpian experts like you and others before taking on the next step.
Yes Extended warranty and comprehensive BSI package is on my list if i take the plunge.

Thank you.

Re: Review: BMW 330i (G20)

I would have normally said no to a demo car, but that is a great deal. I brought the exact same car new a month back for almost 14 lakhs more, albeit the discounts in your market is larger than here. I would not trust the highway miles comments, it was most probably driven hard, but still the discount is mouth watering and you still get to be the first owner! 330i cars are not there much in showrooms, and only white seems to be the color remaining anyway so it might be a long wait and if you order you won't get any discounts. Do go for the most comprehensive warranty and service plans available.

Re: Review: BMW 330i (G20)

Hey Sachin,
Did you close this deal? I was on the look out for a 330i sport as well but none of the dealers have it in stock and with the semi conductor chips shortage, doesn't look like bmw will prioritoze the sport variant. I was a offered a c300d( which never left the factory CBU 2018-4500kms) for 46L on road. Im in a fix on whether to wait or take this deal.

Actually i was going to take the deal but got caught up on a work and miss the deal as another customer took the plunge in a instant even before i could reply. Might be that car was not my destiny. Right now i am in no hurry and will wait till the production starts or a good deal is offered.

If i were you i would wait for 330i sport rather than putting 45L on a 3 year old Mercedes. Not much difference between performance between this two cars amd you get a brand new car at that price too.

Re: Review: BMW 330i (G20)

Hi Guys,
Just got a revert from BMW India on the availability of 330i sports variant. The latest update is that stocks will only hit dealers by Jul/Aug. So that sucks

Maiden Highway run during these testing times.
Made a quick trip to Vijayawada and thoroughly enjoyed the brilliant highway manners of G20 Sport .

Re: Review: BMW 330i (G20)

Can I get a new BMW transported from some other state at ex show room price (less discount)? I remember reading it on the forum but not sure how it works . Do I need to pay road tax twice ? I’m negotiating with a local dealer in Hyderabad for a 330i M sport and there is zero discount here.
