52L or should it be 62L?? OTR price for Msport is around 65-66L in KA and even the Sport is around 58-59L. All prices before discount.

Got it, saw older posts, looks like you got it from Delhi dealer. Road tax is much higher and and even Sport version are selling upward 53-54L here in KA.

Yes. That's not fair at all. It's a 35L car and feels like one from the inside with 4.7L CGST and 4.7L of SGST and another 7L of CESS. It's immoral to charge 20% more on top of this as state tax.

Congratulations and enjoy the beast! If I understand correctly, you registered in NCR but will use exclusively in KA? Is it a BH registration or a normal one?

Its BH registration and most probably for use outside of KA depending on where I work.

Re: Review: BMW 330i (G20)

Does anyone know if 330i M Sport comes with an M Sport suspension? During the test drive, the BMW dealership told me that it has an M Sport suspension but the brochure says it comes with a regular suspension.

It has regular suspension. M sport suspension is lower, not suitable for India anyways.

True, some BMW dealers give all kinds of bull during the pre-sales period .

Anyone have any idea when the LCI is launching in India? Is that why the supply of current kits has totally dried up?

Keyfob unresponsive sometimes

I have an under 2 years old 330i. I have been facing a peculiar issue with my key going unresponsive when I try to unlock the car. Then after 5-6 minutes of trying, the key starts working fine and continues to work fine.
  1. This has happened 6 times in past 1 month
  2. It is not location specific, has happened at 3 distinct locations
  3. Never happened in my home basement
  4. Happened when the car is parked through the day at office/market location
  5. There is no notification in iDrive vehicle status
  6. Even the spare key does not work
  7. I do not have a sure shot way to reproduce the key going unresponsive and do not know how to make it responsive again (except waiting).
  8. I have tried pressing the key closer to all external parts of the car. Nothing works.

I have deduced so far:
  1. It cannot be a battery issue of keyfob as it happens even with spare key and this issue does not happen everytime
  2. It is not location specific blind spot like mentioned in this thread https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/techn...-page-2-a.html (BMW radio frequency interference | Smartkey doesn't work in specific areas | EDIT: Solved on page 2) as it has happened at 3 distinct places so far - Vikhroli, BKC and Bandra west

The car is under warranty till 2026. So I am hoping any replacement issue will be covered. Or maybe this is just a software issue. My only concern is that since this does not happen everytime, I will not be able to demonstrate this at the service station and until BMW confirms identifying and fixing the issue, taking the car outside Mumbai is a risky business.

Has anyone faced this issue? Any ideas on how to reproduce the issue so that I can demonstrate it?

My guess is both of your keys have weak batteries. Try replacing them then re-try. I faced the same issue with my main key’s battery, and now post battery change, it works fine again

Escalate if this doesn’t get resolved.

Correcta! I suffered once similarly with my Octavia, and have since bought original Duracell CR2032 ones for my 3. Now I keep a couple in the car itself and at home, and one in the wallet .

Also, I swap my keys around once in a while.

Thanks for the assurance. I have replaced the battery in spare key and not replaced in the main one. I will continue to use the key with old battery and the day it does not work, will try with the other key with newer battery. That will prove the whether the solution works.

Shouldn't BMW panel display the error of low battery in keyfob?

Yikes, I can bare it if he was unaware of the suspension details like many SA's. Also, I have two more questions, it's been 5 days since I took the delivery of the car and I have driven around 100 Kms. Now, I notice that every time the car goes over a small bump or undulation at more than 30 KPH I hear some rattling sound, I suspected it might be the seatbelts and plugged them all in but to no avail.

Is this a common problem? Even the brushed aluminum around the AV vents on the dash also creeks when I press against it in my car.

Spot on solution. The key with new battery always work while the key with old battery is not working. Have now replaced the battery of both keys. Thanks for the solution.
