I’ve never been a fan of too much chrome. So, today I got my GTX+ wrapped. Thought I’d share a few pictures here. Wrapped the following in gloss black:
1. Roof, roof rails, OVRM wrapped
2. Front grill chrome, door handle chrome, chrome side headings and chrome strip on the boot wrapped in gloss black
3. Added a subtle red strip to the OVRM on the detailer’s insistence, to match the other red accents
Let me know what you guys think.

Assuming that this issue is entirely the car's fault without any 'helping' hand from the customer, this could be one of those rare lemons which make their way in amongst the thousands manufactured.

But yes, this will be unacceptable to the affected customer and he/she can only blame lady luck. Very important how the manufacturer responds to these kind of issues instead of dilly dallying.

I got the Seltos HTX IVT this Monday.
1. Can anyone tell me if they can see the actual fuel status in UVO app?
Mine has full tank but in the app its showing one red bar next to E and 9 white bars towards F.
Customer care says actual fuel level/ status is not available. The app will only alert when fuel is low. Is it like this?
Having interacted about UVO in the past few days I can say that dealers have less than 40% knowledge and UVO care 80%. I don’t trust them.
Just want to be sure.

2. I park in basements at home/ office and have no Vodafone network ; is there any solution ? Other than installing a signal booster near the parking.
At random times entire trip info is not updated/ lost because of ending trip in basement.

You can see the actual fuel status and what you see is correct only , white bar shows the status. As and when the fuel decreases white bar will disappear one by one.
Regarding the network issue, I thought trip info will still be preserved until the signal is lost but not sure

My thoughts exactly! That and painting the alloys black which I will do once the car is a bit older.

Kia can mimic this and launch it as the "Black Edition" of the Seltos. Looks ravishing, nice job.

Here are some pictures which might help of before and after. Though one of the the “before” pictures was clicked right after ceramic coating 5 months ago so you have to ignore the lighter colour look and shine of the body. It always looks shinier when just polished.

Mods: please merge with earlier post if you deem fit.

Have a basic question about Android Auto and Alexa - is there a possibility of giving voice commands to alexa while running Amazon Music? I find it frustrating to keep typing on my mobile every time I have to change music.

Also, there is a big empty space that consumes about 1/3 rd of the screen and shows the clock while running Android Auto. Do other cars also have similar interface?

Afaik you can't use Alexa, I have tried and it didn't work. In the GUI, I use maps which takes up the center and centre right with audible or Amazon music to the left.

The car looks brilliant. Can you give an idea of how much this cost? And I assume since all of this is exterior work, it won’t have any impact on the warranty.
