Thanks, that's a good suggestion, we forgot to ask that in the melee.

You must have obviously checked this, but no harm in double checking - the quoted text above are signs of battery going dead. One of my friends Nexon's battery died after the car wasn't started for 3-4 weeks after he bought it.

Thanks, yes the dealer checked the battery electrolyte, loose connections etc in the first instance. We witnessed that.

Even TATA AIG has cashless tie-up with all Concorde service centres and that is continue to remain that way in the foreseeable future due to TATA-TATA synergy. I have got Sapphire plus plan for XZ+ Diesel for Rs 26,260.

Re: Tata Nexon : Official Review

Yet another case of a Nexon crashing and turning turtle has come to light, as per owner Surinder Shan of Jammu.

In his words (translated):

Quote:
Yesterday, I was going from Jammu to Doda. When I reached Batote, my car fell 20 feet down from the road but by God's blessings and the build quality of the Nexon I escaped from the crash without a single scratch on my body.

On a lighter note, is it something wrong with Nexon Design? Because so many accidents are being reported.

On an even lighter note;

Accidents are being reported because drivers made it out alive

Might be, people are taking it's crossover looks rather too seriously. And just try to cross-over rather than just drive through the roads

One more, Car now surely has NU-LOOK (2nd image).

Happy that owner is unharmed, so far Nexon seems to topple a lot!

Re: Tata Nexon : Official Review

Is it something to do with the fact that the car generates more power than what drivers are experienced with or could it be related to the aggressive acceleration that the vehicle exhibits in sport mode?

I guess not. In all the cases so far, the drivers have clearly given reasons on why the car toppled, from running off the road, swerving to avoid a collision, etc. If the car was suspect, then surely we would have heard complaints on the same.

Do expect taller vehicles with a larger ground clearance to topple more than a sedan with a lower clearance. The sudden reaction in turning the steering wheel hard at speed is good enough to sending it rolling.

It is quite possible, I have experienced this too especially when it came to crawling in first gear is difficult especially in sport mode. However, as reported this was a fall of 20 ft and whether or not car lands on its wheels is a matter of luck.

In other news, I have figured out the Android Auto bit. I just had to click ok a couple of times on my phone app's instructions. My eagerness I guess!

Re: Tata Nexon : Official Review

Guys,

Had the first issue with XZ+ Diesel. This morning after driving for around 6km (30 mins) got stuck at a traffic signal. As the wait time was more, switched off the ignition. While turning it on pressing the ignition button , to my horror the engine refused to start. It’s just cranking and tries to crank as long as I was pressing the start button and the clutch. It went on for around ten mins. After which I switched off everything and tried again and the engine started. The odo reads 1500 and the engine coolant gauge was just at 2 bars with no MIL glowing. Anyone with similar experience.
