Most under rated compact SUV of the segment, but it is a very reliable vehicle.

Re: Honda WR-V : Official Review

Converted my WRV to CNG a couple of days back. Its a Mar'21 SV variant. The process took about 4.5 hours and the total cost of installation including RC endorsement came to about Rs.55k. These BS-6 kits have become very expensive compared to BS-4 ones. In 2020, i converted my kizashi to CNG for a mere 35k, not including RC endorsement though. Will give my feedback after a week or so of running.

I recently did a 11500 km drive from Kochi to the North East states and back in my 2017 Honda WRV Diesel. The car had run about 42k when I started the trip. It gave no problems during the 52 day trip despite driving to heights of 14000 ft elevation and along some very bad roads. Overall mileage was 24.2 km/L. The WRV is indeed an underrated car.

Re: Honda WR-V : Official Review

After cancelling by Elevate booking, i decided to go for pre-owned WRV petrol (50K odo reading, 2017 model). Not being a driving enthusiast, i did not have much expectations from WRV. Just needed something to go from point A to B. Driven Maruti Swift K series petrol car for 14 years, here are my observations:

1 NVH Level- Swift is better. Tires noise seeps in WRV after 50-60 kmph. Very annoying for me, being a music buff. In fact that is enough of a deal breaker for me. I heard Elevate has same issue.
2- Power - Exactly same as Swift. However, WRV being heavier by 100 kg approx., the struggle is evident. Need to change gear more frequently. Struggles for pick up in 3rd gear, forget about 4th gear.
3- Black shiny dashboard - Reflects too much sunlight. This issue, I never faced in Swift.
4- Too many curves in body/lights. - Need too much cleaning of crevices . Swift is well rounded.
5- Black interior - Gathers too much dust. Need frequent cleaning. Too much for a lazy soul like me.
6- ASC- Maruti pampers their customer better. Be it hospitality or quality of service.

Apart from that, WRV is great. Engine is butter smooth. I drove in my Swift to take test drive of WRV. And while returning back in my Swift, i was just singing about the WRV engine.
Gears are smooth, with a cute little gear knob.
Fuel average is same as Swift - 14 kmpl in city, 18 on highway.

In nutshell, i keep on hearing about Maruti's cost cutting.so i always aspired for a Honda or VW. However i am not impressed with WRV. And i start admiring Maruti more.
Planning to sell it off by year end for something better.

Does anyone know a source for this part
https://boodmo.com/catalog/part-p-38624978/
A friend of mine had this damaged, and he's not able to obtain one via either Honda or aftermarket channels

Hi,

In WRV with electrical foldable mirrors, is there any way to fold one mirror?
