The WRV needs to be revved beyond 2k rpms for decent performance with AC in Highways. For reference, the City archives similar performance in 1500 rpm

In moderate slopes WRV has to be revved beyond 3k rpms especially during launch

I don’t know if the above mentioned points are specific for the TD vehicle or for all WR-V petrols

If it had the CVT mated in mid 1.2 liter variant and 1.5 liter CVT in top variant, this car would have sold more numbers

Also it would have been fun to have 1.5 Ivtec in manual Transmission for the top end

Though we loved the the WRV for reasonable looks and great space management , we brought the Jazz because we needed the CVT

Can you share contact of Mr. Pasha, I’m planning on ordering aozoom fog projectors for my honda city and looking for an installer in hyderabad. Thanks in advance.

To be honest, haven't paid much attention to this point but I've seen the instantaneous fuel economy bar on the display close to 20 or on the other side many times when my wife drives it. When my dad drives, it certainly isn't and all my focus is on the road when I'm driving as I'm a new driver

Re: Honda WR-V : Official Review

Are the rear seats of 2022 WRV comfortable (ignoring the fixed headrests) for elders in terms of recline angle and suspension wise for long travel of around 400 km one way?
I am almost in to a new SV MT model and I need to take a call to push the button for cancelling the Brezza LXI booking.
Greatly appreciate any quick feedback.

I'm 5ft7in, and I've to slit slouched so i can rest my head on the back seat headrest. Did 60kms journey and i was constantly adjusting myself. Won't recommend in my opinion!

Reclining angle is okay. But the suspension tuning is excellent!

Thank you very much for your response.I am around 5.8" and always will be in driver's seat. My parents and wife are under 5.5 so i guess that is okay as suspension takes care of remaining things. I am on my way to check a vehicle.hope they can offer me a good discount.

I made up my mind for a Metallic Grey SVMT WRV. Dealer is quoting a good close to 1 lac discount on the standard on road price including the addon's like Ext Warranty, RSA and basic kit.
I checked with another branch of same dealer (for the same VIN car) and 2 other dealers and all of them quoted max 50K discount plus some possible adjustment in accessories.
I checked VIN and its Oct 22 made,7 KM on the odo when it was in stock yard and some 40KM yesterday at the Dealership where I am taking delivery.
It has Goodyear Tyres including spare and the trip Milage was showing 7.2km. I guess it is because of all the traffic due to rain and I know the car travelled on a busy route from yard to dealership.

General check on other things also seemed okay yesterday except I thought that the rear Right glass made some rubbing sound during up/down movement. Sales guy told me it is due to rain (why not in other windows?) otherwise it operated normally.

The sales rep looked quite transparent. He let me take my time (even though it was nearing their work closing time) and check the car in detail and answered my questions patiently.
He also showed me a VX MT, but I felt the head room for the front row is greatly reduced dud to the Sunroof module and I was already stretching my budget so decided to stick to SV.

As I was asking for an earliest delivery possible. He said that they cannot start processing until they receive the full amount for the car.

I see a further scope to reduce the price in

1. Handling and Logistics - 5K ->. Is this even Legal? I did not see this in
Tata, Maruti's dealer price list. Based on "MyCarhelpline's" You tube Video
this is illegal.
2. Basic Kit - 6K ->Are the floor mats and Mudflaps worth the price compared to external buy? Pillows and a Hammer are the other items of the kit.
3. Extended Warranty for 4th and 5th year - should I buy now or Later in the 3rd year?

Is there any specific accessory that you recommend I should consider buying from the dealer?
I need a car body cover immediately with the car for sure. Should I buy at dealer or outside?
I will get the seat covers outside.

I also ordered Team bhp sticker set yesterday and waiting to stamp them on the WRV.

Re: Honda WR-V : Official Review

Though I really really enjoyed driving my WR-V iDtec, - have driven 82000 km in 4 years, even with the lockdowns, I am really disappointed it scored a Single star in the Latin NCAP. Thought Honda would do much better.

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/road-...ar-rating.html (Latin NCAP: Honda WR-V scores 1 star rating)

Since I drive mostly on the highway - I am now selling the car. :(

Re: Honda WR-V : Official Review

My 2017 WRV Diesel has done about 58000kms. Over the last 1 week i started to feel a vibration on the right wheel after the speed crossed 80km/hr. Since it did not bother us in the city i chose to ignore it. The car went on a highway drive down south(400km) and the vibration became more apparent. So stopped at a michelin dealer in tindivanam(125km from chennai) to check tyre balance. the tyre seemed alright but a small leak was visible from the driveshaft boot. So i called my honda SA immediately. He suggested i continue the journey but at a speed about 70km/hr. So off i went, taking a 1.5 more hours more to reach my destination. I fixed up an appointment at Capital honda pudukottai the next day. They checked it and were quick to spot that a rat had bitten my drive shaft boot and hence the grease/oil had leaked causing this issue. They recommended changing the whole drive shaft(INR 12000). I was not to keen but decided to do it for the sake of safety.

Am keen to know if any of you think we could have found a matching driveshaft boot and changed it to solve the problem.

Once a boot has torn, it results is the bearing inside to wear out really quickly. That is what causes the vibration and the sound. By this time it is usually too late to salvage the situation. Depending on whether the outer bearing has been damaged or the inner side which is towards the engine, it may be possible to replace just bearing and then refit the boot.

What the dealer did is probably correct since half axle assemblies may not be available at Honda.

I guess it was just bad luck, so stop worrying and enjoy your car. It one of the best Hinda's out there is terms of space inside and the fantastic brakea
steering and suspension setup.

Completed five years of blissful ownership. Milage is lower due to covid, just crossed 50k. Enjoying the 850-950 DTE ranges after every full tank.
