1. No alloy wheels.
2. No rear wiper or defogger.
3. No reverse sensor.
4. No driver seat height adjuster (lumbar support adjustment exists).
5. 4 power windows?? (I could be wrong, but I saw what looked like 4 power windows on this).
6. No chrome outside or inside.
7. Central console piano finish wasn't visible.
8. Seats are of same quality as on XZ trim.
9. No body colored door handles.
10. Mirrors black.
11. Roof antena provision exists.

Why is it taking so long to launch it? We have been hearing about it since so long that I feel public will loose interest and its great hope will only end up fizzling out. Look at Mahindra, they have in no time launched TUV and KUV. The Hexa is going to be another unending wait I guess.
Look at Vitara Brezza. The lay public became aware of it by and large after the auto expo and today two months after, a friend sent a whatsapp image of brand new car on the road.

I had just checked the car at RF motors, Cochin a few days back. The car is now available for Test Drives and it is a Diesel XZ version. I am looking for an additional City Car for my dad and myself to use when I am back home. Tiago is as Roomier as Indica, and the second row looks fantastic. It could easily take 3 adults.

If this is true, then the Tiago is a big disappointment for me. XE and XM are really bare bones variants. XT doesn't really get much over XM. Almost every goodie is reserved for XZ. Even the safety features are only for XZ variant. This is very much unlike Zest/Bolt which had a decent set of features even for the middle variant.
I really hope this feature distribution turns out to be incorrect please:

Even I had the same feeling, but I didn't comment as I wanted to wait for the official launch. I really hope that the lower variants get atleast the option of safety features and the XT variant atleast gets goodies like steering mounted controls.
They should give Driver air bag in XT variant at least. Let us wait till tomorrow.
