Another shade of blue though a bit darker, will be launched exclusive to the sport versions. :)

That’s sad because that’s the colour I loved the most. In the early days post the car launch, I used to see a lot of Tiagos in this colour. But now, I don’t see many new Tiago in this colour.

That is nice. Looking forward to see them. Volvo blue or the BMW blue are quite attractive.
Initial days of Tiago I saw many in Orange on road. Later browns and red. Blue, very rare. The color is not bad but there are other options that have good road presence.

I am told the replacement colour for Striker Blue is Titanium Grey, for the Tiago/Tigor lineup. |
I stand corrected. The shade is
Granite Grey.

I believe Tiago is the first car from Tata (along with the Tigor) where the diesel variants has been outsold by the petrol variants, that too by a huge margin. According to our Team-BHP official review, diesel engine is better w.r.t the petrol engine, so it is not that the Diesel engine is inferior. Recently two of my close acquaintance have bought the Tiago, both with petrol engines. I did ask them as to why they didn't consider the diesel, to which both replied that the petrol Tiago itself returns a good FE & the SA (in both cases) suggested that the petrol engine is better. In late 2011, we visited a Tata showroom to look at the Vista, upon asking about the petrol variant we were told that no one buys a Tata petrol. Not only Tata, almost every car manufacturer (& customer) is shifting towards petrol powered cars specially in the hatchback segment.
The Tiago in Titanium Grey, in person.
Tata has silently sent out the Tiago hatchback equipped with the Aktiv body kit to select dealerships, it seems. This could be a measure to counter the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Celerio X.

The price of the kit is not known yet as it is not mentioned on the website but it may cost up to Rs. 30,000. The kit includes new lower bumper, that is very rugged and gives a crossover feel to the vehicle. It includes plastic skid plates painted in chrome. There is also side underbody plastic moulding that adds to the rugged overall look of the vehicle. At the rear, the lower bumper gets replaced with a rugged black coloured bumper with similar silver painted skid plate. It also gets body graphics on the side.
There are additional accessories available too like alloy wheels, puddle lamp, mood lighting, fog lamp with DRLs, illuminated logo, door visors, chrome kit and sunroof. Tata also offers accessories like car inverter, backseat organiser, bumper corner protector, rub rail, tyre repair kit, HUD with TPMS, arm rest, mud flap and USB charger. Even the interiors can be upgraded with seat covers, window shades cushion and reading light.

I just received a call from my TML dealer to inform me of free replacement of brake pads and wipers.
I have observed that the brakes are quite noisy on my Tiago. Particularly when they are cold. They also creak when the car rolls just a bit, for example when stopped on a slope. I hope that the pad replacement will solve the issue.
The wipers are fine but they must be replacing them for a good reason.
I am planning on having these replaced this weekend. I will update afterwards.
In the process of making the final payments for the Tiago XZA. I just want to know, what is the current stand on Logistic and Handling charges levied by the dealership ??? This is Concorde Motors.
Do I still have to pay the logistic charges ??? I thought this was not legal, remember reading it somewhere on tBhp.
Need a clarification from the other members.

You shouldn't have to pay the handling (logistics) charge. Some dealerships waive it off without a fight when you mention it is illegal (my Ford dealership did), while some resist and don't mind you cancelling your booking.
Show them these threads and threaten to involve Tata as well.

Finally the Tiago XZA comes home and joins our family. This is for my wife. Booked at Concorde Motors, Jayanagar. Final price - 6.60L OTR. Took Just a week from booking to delivery. Overall experience with Concorde was great.
@libranof1987: put up a fight regarding the logistics charges, but to no avail. Have mailed TaTa Motors customer care, waiting for their response.
Has anyone installed TATA's sunroof accessory? seems to be a manual one, but my biggest concern is it will affect the car's structure, can someone enlighten me about this?
