As I fired up the engine after filling up, the MID displayed the warning. I tried switching off and on multiple times and the warning kept coming.

Fortunately for me, the Maruti Suzuki service station was right in the next compound. I took the car there but they had never worked on a S-Cross yet - Miraculously, the warning disappeared when I tried to show them the same. And the mechanics over there could not understand what I told them - I took the Manual and showed them the picture and wordings of the warning but still they tried to act ignorant I left the place since the error was gone and since then it has not returned.

I am not sure if I can just ignore the warning or take it to a service station ASAP. Experts please advice.
That is very fortunate of the warning getting disappeared. The situation would've been different in case for VW/Skoda vehicles. You might've to tow the vehicle to nearest dealer.

Wow. Great set of mods.

IMHO, please de-badge your ride and add a set of German number plates!

Thanks. To be honest, I was afraid I went overboard with it. My first time being this adventurous in terms of mods - upsized to 17 inch alloys and 225/50 Maxxis. With the buyback, I had to shell out 44K, out of which 38K was for the wheels.

Its not one of the named brands. Its a BBS design-copy imported from Thailand - as per the Car Shringar guy on JC Road.

Thanks. Not sure of debadging, may be in a couple of year. When I can dream up a more aggressive wrap design!

German number plates? If you are referring to the IND number plates, yes thats definitely in the pipeline.

Great set of mods maxaud!!! I am actually curious about the grille. Very curious

Did you wrap the chrome part of the grille - excluding the Suzuki logo - or paint it black? The 3M outlets I went would not do it. They say, it will not last long and hence they will not do it. I had got the wrap in the number plate area but even that has started peeling off. I am planning to get the grille and the number plate area painted black - but still skeptical. One of our members had wrapped the chrome in black from a local outlet and I am considering that also. Would love to know how and where you did it and I would like to do the same if you are happy with the results

Really wonderful modification maxaud. The black goes pretty well for the white. Alloy wheel also looks good. Congratulations !!!. Drive safe and enjoy the drive.

This mod is clearly outstanding !! Looks awesome.

Am waiting for the Scross Petrol launch - it doesnt make make sense to buy a Diesel in NCR as the RTO has put a requirement of fitness certificate after 10 years (which they will never give). So holding period for a Diesel vehicle should not be more than 4 years to get any sort of a resale value in NCR. I tend to hold cars for a lot lot longer. Settled for a Ciaz Petrol in the meanwhile. Am happy with it as its a sensible vfm purchase. Meanwhile the heart still seeks out the Scross. Sadly, Maruti's priorities on production and new launches lie elsewhere.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

Today after about 50 Kms of travel suddenly I heard loud scratching sound from front right disc. When applied brakes sound would disappear for few seconds and then resume again. Went to MASS, by that time sound completely vanished. TA diagnosed it a case of gravel stuck up in brake pads which was dislodged due to braking.

By the way 9000 Kms up in 4 months! So far so good!!
