And Lovely colour it is. Mine is the same 😊
The tax differences between states in India is such a mess. I got alpha 1.3 at 10.9L on road. My friend got it at 10.6L on road because he didn't have to pay municipal corporation tax unlike me.

I must say one thing, you will enjoy the ride and premium quality product. Have fun.
Drive safe.
Thanks mate!

This is in Bangalore. I think the tax component comes up to around INR 1,55,000/-. I got a 50k discount on the retail price.

But yea, the 1.3 Delta and the 1.6 (all variants) had some huge discounts. Zeta is apparently the best performing variant.

Congratulations on the new acquisition, Wishing you miles of fun and safe drives
Any idea if these huge discounts are just to clear 2015 stocks or will this continue (or expected to continue) on 2016 models as well ?

Thank you!

Just to clear stocks (at least according to the RM). I'd be inclined to take his word for it considering my case.

I'd booked a granite grey 1.3 Zeta. For some reason got mixed up for silver. Initially I insisted on grey, no matter how long it took. At which point he told me that grey would take three months and also that there's a price hike in January (not that I would have had to pay for it).

Finally bit the bullet and took 50k off on silver itself.

Also, production of the S-CROSS is also not priority because of the backlog on the Baleno. Last month's 2500 dispatches is apparently no way a reflection on sales (which is pretty good apparently).

Looks like a stock clearance. And for those thinking Maruti will give up on S Cross, especially the DDiS320 maybe wrong.

Maybe with the price correction they see better sales for the 1.6. They have recently, 17th December imported the same and it has now imported ~4.2k 1.6 engines to date!

I'm sure you can't express the joy as the number of smileys are limited.

Which variant have you booked?

Saw an Ad in TOI local edition about S´-Cross limited edition labelled 'Primea' with the DDiS 320 at <10 lakhs. Specs seemed to be good.

Finally, Congrats on booking the 1.6 ddis. Even the current deal of 1.6lakhs is quite good.
Do you have the price quote from Ambattur Nexa? Heard from a friend that they are offering 3L discount for 1.6 Diesel.

You will not get that discount in Chennai, max is 2 lac and if lucky a few accessories at the most.

Most likely, the coming soon YBA SUV will get the 1.6.

The Scross pricing is ridiculous right now, Scross 1.3 is cheaper than a Baleno.

This is not a 1.6 DDiS 320, rather it's the 1.3 DDiS 200 Delta variant with few features of the Zeta and priced at 8.99 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

Beg to differ, it's actually ddis320. It's called premia+ and the cost mentioned is 10.49l not 8.99l.
DDIS320 is clearly mentioned in the ad

Girish

I agree with Girish and one dealer in Chennai doesn't have any stock. Its basically stock clearance.
