Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Congratulations rdhan.
When are ou starting the ownership thread?
I had cancelled the July 2015 car, though it came with the discount. Managed to get same discounts on Nov car and opted for it. Its a good offer and i didn't have issues with a car that is just two months old at that price point.
I am getting it delivered on 14th.

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

I have a query.

Has anyone found a way to go to the ACC mode without going to off from the engine running state. It is rather annoying if you have to switch off the engine and you find that the ICE also stops and then you have to press the button again to go to ACC to continue using the stereo.

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Completely & Totally in Love with the Ciaz!! Done about 50kms in City giving an average of 9.7km/l , A/C Fantastic. Gear shifts butter smooth, Clutch after a Gypsy King & an Esteem..Heaven! Engine growl audible but no complaints!! Getting used to the size of the Ciaz. Ordered a set of racing paddles on Amazon. Turmeric stains taken care of by diluted Pril !!
No regrets of jumping from a Baleno on to the Ciaz!!

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Does anyone has any news that when the facelift ciaz is going to be out. I heard there is a facelift in the pipeline when it goes to Nexa.

Anyone has any idea what all changes are going to be there. In the news articles I read, they are planning to make it more premium.

Anyone has any news as i am planning to buy the ciaz and keeping a decision on hold and waiting for the facelift

If that was so they would have showcased it in the AutoExpo. & one of Us would have caught a glimpse of it. Unless they have one under raps and are maintaining complet secrecy. What Maruti displayed was one with the RS cladding without the spoiler!!

I'm also quite happy with my Zx in one month usage.
In Bangalore city, i'm getting around 13kmpl avg. Recently went on a trip to Nandi hills and got more than 19kmpl for the 170km drive. (All these are as displayed in MID and it may not be accurate).

BTW, gearshift is not always that smooth in my case. Hoping that it will get better with more use. Drove only around 700km so far. Anyway, will get it checked during my 1st service this weekend.

Is this something we install on the existing pedal or replace the current one? trying to see ease of installation. Any idea?

Have you installed these? How are they to drive? Could you share a few pics post installation?

Congrats on the car. Very good choice indeed

EDIT: Apologies, just saw your latest post. Please share pics once you get delivery and have installed them.

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Got the Pedals! ! Fixing is an issue!! Holes have to drilled , no problem in case of the Brake & Clutch pedals!! Issue is with the accelerator. Trying to figure that one out. Will probably visit a accessories dealer to get them fitted.

I would suggest you to not drill the accelerator pedal and just use double sided tape to stick it on. The pedal assembly is once single piece all the way to the top and in case you want any warranty replacement of the accelerator pedal, the dealer might have problems with this. Buy 3M double sided tape and stick. It holds on very well.
