Yes, planning to do that but still it is a hassle to an extent. I'm not sure if this fiasco is from Ford or created by the dealers. Let's hope that the launch of competitive models from MS and Hyundai do bring in a sense of semblance to this situation.

Otherwise, the DRLs can be connected by a different switch so that it can be operated separately.
It will light up only the indicator for parking as other back lit speedo and RPM lights are on whether day or night.

The other two are just plastic cladded hatches.
The same applies to cross polo too.

Sure. Its just the looks and that's where the similarity ends with an SUV...

We don't need to, just from the clips of the speakers, you can take the connection for tweeters as well

When you have both treble and bass adjusted for equal (say high or medium), then the treble overshoots over bass, where as in Fiesta or EcoSport AT, this is not the case. Both are having equal levels. This observation made me to think that the wattage of this tweeter may be on the higher side. In order to validate my thoughts, I have checked the wattage on a company fitted tweeters on an AT EcoSport, to our bad, wattage is not written on the tweeters

Re: Ford EcoSport : Official Review

Not sure if this has been discussed already, but is there a posibility of 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine coupled to an automatic transmission (AT)? Do other countries get it?

Yes ,Ford has recently mated automatic to the 1 litre ecoboost.
Other countries already have it not sure which one.
It will be available in India from 2016(may be on the new figo and other small cars too)

I got your point.
It is only that the hertz tweeters are of better quality than the AT stock tweeters ,nothing to do with wattage(AT stock tweeters and speakers are both matched with each other)

Hence tone done the treble a little in the settings.

BTW Anumod are you coming for the Nagarjuna sagar drive ,on sunday?

Such drives sound fun

Do we have something similar happening in Bangalore as well? If yes, please direct me to some relevant posts, would love to be a part of such an outing. Thanks.

It has been introduced in the Fiesta hatch/sedan recently. 1.0 Ecoboost with 6 speed DCT.

Would have been the most brilliant combination in the Ecosport.

ES is heavier than fiesta and 1.0 litre ecoboost will feel severely underpowered in the low range for a DCT. Current 1.5l NA engine is strong on low range, but very weak on mid range and is ideal for city use. The right engine for ES AT would be 1.5/1.6l ecoboost.

Re: Ford EcoSport : Official Review

Went to Kairali Ford, TVM today to check if they have any news about the DRLs. As expected, they didn't have a clue about such a thing. So I guess I will have to wait for an update from naveen.raju about its availability in Kairali Ford, Cochin.

Wonder why 2 dealership run by same franchise are not in sync in terms of product knowledge.

Hi all, this in response to the Genuine Ford Signature lights. I read about same on this thread and contacted my dealer same evening.
I got a confirmation on same with promise to call ASAP. Very Next noon I got call that DRLs have arrived. Well...

GOOD PART:
- these are Genuine Ford Accessories and cost 12,999/- (Bangalore) without exchange of ur old headlamp console.
- these are completely packed and these is no fear of moisture getting inside.
- these come with Ford Guarantee on any manufacturing defects.
BAD PART:
- these are Signature lights and NOT AT ALL DRLs (Daytime Running Lights)
- Visibility in daylight is very poor. You can actually see them only after 5:30pm while sunlight goes a little soft.
- full visibility only during dark but nighttime headlights will kill the effect.
- visibility is only when you are right in front of the headlights. There is ZERO visibility from sides beyond 45 ० angle.
- there is no possibility of these signature lights helping you during taking turns as they do not change color.

Hope Ford receives this feedback from dealers and reworks on this accessory otherwise it will be a big disappointment.
Even the Ford employees were disappointed when they witnessed poor performance of these new signature lights.

A big thumbs down :(

I thanked the staff and came back home without the new lights. Three cheers to my dealer Metro Ford & Team BHP.
