Suhaas307 picked it up from Petes in Kundalhalli. You can check with them if it's in stock.

Sent a message to Shibin to check the same. Lets see!

Hi, I got mine from Vagtunes, Hosur Road. Drive in - installation - and drive out in just 10 minutes. I don't know about Petes, but I got decent quote from vagtune than from Petes when I enquired about GTI steering wheel. In-case you want to call them - Amal - 9731844411.

Which version ?

Hi sivasain,

Its 2015 facelift, Vagtune has also listed Steering with paddle shift for 48k but this is not GTI steering wheel and there are two versions China/Mexico.

Regards.

Got my fast grocery run hatch if I may call it so lol:.

A few things compared to the test drive car - this one is way more responsive and feels fantastic to drive. The throttle issue is not as pronounced in this compared to the td car. However one thing is for sure - the dsg upshifts too easily in D.

Give it some time and it will 'learn' your driving style and adapt to it. I've observed that whenever you reset the DSG, it upshifts very early. After a while it starts to hold gears much longer.

Hi,

Has anyone bought steering wheel with paddle shift for Vento/Polo TSI recently? I was checking on ebay and price of steering listed is higher than what most of the folks paid earlier (~550$ including shipping).

Regards.

Hi antardaksh,

I'd got mine a few months ago from a seller on ebay. Several people on the forum have ordered through him and found him to be good. You can drop him a message with your requirements and check the price.

Cheers!

How do you reset it? With VCDS cable or any other method? If without VCDS, please explain how to :)

This car was bought for my wife, but its so much fun to drive, i have almost stopped driving my Civic and mooch this car. Unfortunately due to my aggressive driving style the "D" mode now holds gears so much longer that my wife says that it sounds like driving in S mode. (which she doesnt like)

When the car was new it used to upshift very fast, not any more. I too would like to know how to reset the DSG. Can one do it oneself perhaps with a vcds cable? or can it only be done at an A.S.S?

No you don't need a VCDS cable to do it. Just follow the instructions in this post http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...ml#post3487457

Service center can reset the DSG. They reset it once I gave it for the 7500 km check up. I had done both mileage drive and the other extreme drive making the DSG totally confused leading to low mileage and low pick up.:deadhorse
Also my 80% running in dense B2B Bangalore traffic. Finally no mileage and no power !!

Now it feels better for me.

Thanks, it worked for my Rapid DSG. It's become a new animal altogether and gears are holding upto 2800 RPM now even in D mode. Loving it!

It worked for me without switching off.

This procedure did not work for me. I think what this does is a soft reset on driving style and not clutch adaptation.

I did this process last weekend and it resolve all issues with jerks when shifting 3--2 etc. It feels like a new car again.
