The user manual keeps referring to "Settings" menu, I have not been able to find that elusive optionplease:

I don't think it is possible to enable the auto fold option for the ORVM in the Indian spec. This requires a relay, which I doubt if it is there in the Indian version.

Most of these VW manuals are generic and covers everything the model supports. A lot of stuff in the manual will not be applicable to the India spec car.

There are few things as disappointing as VW manuals, telling you about all the things other people get on their models, but not on yours! This is not just India: it was true of the Golf that I drove in London 15 years ago. I always thought that the 90%-blanked switch panel on the centre console was, psychologically, a bad start!

Hey ho, if it was extras and gadgets we wanted, we wouldn't have bought VW: there are plenty of other reasons to enjoy the cars :)

Can someone please point a shop in Bangalore where I can swap polo tyres to S Drive, who gives a very good price for the stock tyres please:

I am not sure about the "good price", but you would definitely get better service(along with the free advice e.g. Comparison of Continental with Yoko) in Madhus. Nikhil(Bhpian) owns this.

Even I had swapped my tyres(to P3ST) in Madhus.

i'm a happy owner of a gt tsi since a year and a half. and now since we need to add another automatic hatch in the family a repeat was a no brainer.

we wouldnt mind a new gt tsi right away but can probably wait a year which got me looking up the internet a little.

i've been reading/researching a bit about the next generation polo which is set to enter production in march 2016 in europe. also read a few reports that the next generation polo will be based on the MQB platform.

though there are other reports stating that the next generation polo is only going to be brought into india in 2020, although VW India seems to be trying to bring it in earliest by 2018 probably based on the MQB A0 platform developed for emerging markets like india and brazil.

vw have also come out with the new generation 1.0 TSI engine in europe which is putting out better power and mileage than the current 1.2 TSI. due for india soon ?

anyhow, long story short... don't want to end up getting the current polo gt tsi if its in its last leg or would it be safe to say that it'll be current for the next 2 to 3 years ?

Its been 45 days since we have booked the GT (CS Grey) and there is no sign of it:Frustrati. Dealer says Bhopal is "C" category city in VW books and hence the delay. Can somebody point me out whom to write in VW for a early delivery.

Yes, I like the OEM seat fabric, I want something on top of it.

My i10 seat cover has started showing its age after 5.5 years. Especially the Drivers seat.

I did the same with my last car. Kept the original seats for four years and clad them in covers afterwards. Planning to do the same with the GT TSI.
