It is compatible but in order to get the steering wheel controls work you need to use compatible canbus adapter. Your factory harness will connect with this adapter and then it will provide relevant input to F70bt or any stereo.

The link for the adapter is:

I have installed F60 bt in my polo and it works like a charm.

Re: Skoda Rapid : Test Drive & Review

Hi All,

Just came back from a road trip from GOA, I observed steering vibration when driving at speeds of 80-90kmph, but there was no vibration after this speed.

what could be the reason ? I will get this checked up in 1yr service, coming up in April.

I think, the car is also pulling slightly to the left.

Please advise.

This relates to alignment and wheel balancing. Get your tyres balanced. If possible try to get the wheels rotated.

Got the 1 year service done today of my rapid 1.5 TDI DSG. Dropped the car at 930AM at Tafe access service centre and got the car back at 630PM. Total damages Rs 7495. Engine oil was replaced so was the pil filter. Along with these AC filter and air filter were also replaced. I didnt opt for polishing or wheel balancing. Will get those done near my house

Re: Skoda Rapid : Test Drive & Review

Some news Guys - Skoda suspends sale of Rapid diesel MT.
According to Autocar, Skoda has stopped sales of diesel-powered Rapid equipped with a manual gearbox.
This is said out to be a voluntary and precautionary step.

Thanks Kiran !
Too late, I renewed my insurance on 31st March.
IDV 974475
Model: Skoda Rapid Elegance Plus 1.5 TDi CR AT.
Insurance premium including Drive Assure Economy was Rs 29056.
Why is your IDV so high even after 1 year ?

Read the news about Vento Tdi MT. So Rapid also joins the list. I am not sure how DSG variant is unaffected

Hi F150

I renewed through bajaj allianz website. Hence you have an option to provide your own maximum IDV. Based on which new premium is calculated.

Thanks

I thought the engine is same between the automatic and manual transmission! So what is the logic of just suspending only the manual?

When i bought this vehicle the ex-showroom price was Rs 11,28,709. This was the IDV during 1st year insurance.

Yes, so your IDV for this year should be Rs 10,15,838.1. But you selected an IDV of Rs 10,69,061.

I remember reading on the forum that the payout will be as per the depreciation calculation and not the IDV in case of total loss.

Any in any case, the ex showroom price in PUNE was 10.88 Lacs.
