Well i spotted 3 sea grey ones, 2 white ones, 2 silver one & a black one in different parts of bangalore city.
My dealer is MPL. As you may already know, I have booked the New Fiesta Trend and waiting for the festive discounts/freebies to begin before I take the delivery.

The two cars I spotted were Moondust Silver and white.

Usually MPL gives correct info. But still you will not be seeing a mini SUV launched before early 2013 on the fiesta platform, maybe ford will fly an imported one like the ecosport and display it at auto expo and announce plans to launch it "later"

@MAS, that is quite an unique strategy - but are you sure the dealer is going to honor any discounts for you, if they are offered to all?

Although the sorry sales of the car would help you on the bargaining front for sure.

Re: Ford Fiesta : Test Drive & Review

There seem to be talks of an eco-boost mini-SUV based on the Figo platform.

Fingers crossed for the discounts. I am travelling the whole of October and November and my Fusion should survive for the next two months. So i thought there is no harm in waiting for the discounts to start (due to festive season). I guess, i might wait till Jan and get a 2012 model.

There is a mention of Ecosport for early 2012 release even on Oct issue of Autocar.
Don't know how authentic is this news. But at least to me it makes a logical sense.
Need to enter this market early, before others capture it.

ACI talks of early 2012 release.

Up to 50000 Rs discount on New FOrd Fiesta. Exchange bonus, insurance and accessories worth 50K. This is only for the petrol fiesta. Saw an ad in today's Hindu.

Did a trip of ~1200 km in the past one week within Tamil Nadu. Spotted two white new fiestas at Tiruchirapalli, one sea grey near Coimbatore, one Silver fiesta at Salem with ribbons for delivery. As they were traveling in the opposite direction, could not spot the variants or if they were petrol or diesel though.

Yes, the ads have appeared on the local news papers in this part too.

Rs. 50,000 off on the petrol only models.

OT Question - couldn't find a better thread; is the 50k discount available on the Fiesta classic too?

Re: Ford Fiesta : Test Drive & Review

Completed 1500 Kms. last night in the past 1 month 3 days on the new fiesta.

Verdict : Fiesta is still FUN TO DRIVE in its new avatar!!(even in the run-in period)

First service due on the 2500 Kms. mark.

It is still cooking (on simmer) on the Assembly Line Section. Travel to Bangalore keeps me distracted. Hope to be back to stable routine in the next few days and will spend some dedicated time to updating it.

Was eagerly looking forward to your report as i will take delivery of my Fiesta TDCi in November. I hope it does not turn out to be a Long Term Ownership Review instead of the Initial Ownership Report...
