Nice job. It's a month up and I must say that the shine is longer lasting than 3M or Navnit Motor's detailing. Will call Kamyo again . I'll give them an overall rating of 8.5 / 10. I think this is as good as it gets in Bombay; only the lucky Bangalore guys have access to 10/10 detailing.

Sorry missed this rather useful and most recent update from GTO. I'm going ahead with Kamyo for now based on GTO's and Akshay's previous recommendations.

On a separate note, they do indeed have some sort of a tie up with a petrol pump in town in case you need a venue.

I got my 3 GT detailed (exterior & interior) from Kamyo yesterday. Have put a short update and pics of the job on my 3 GT review thread.

Overall very happy and I would certainly go back to Kamyo for future detailing jobs. More at the link below (post # 59).

What a coincidence, his other team was detailing our A6 yesterday as well.

Have used Kamyo services in October 2016.

What I liked

• Convenient, door step service
• Great attention to detail
• Awesome results
• Very professional

What I did not like

• Super expensive
• Consumables used are not branded
• Only 3 guys turned up instead of usual 4. Time taken was 7 hours
• Still scope for better detailing

What I paid: Rs. 8,500/-

My rating: 8/10

I've called them tomorrow for my new X5 M-Sport Carbon black. Just doing the exterior for now. They're calling it paint sealant treatment. Does detailing mean the same? Is there anything specific I should be doing for the car?

It's been less than 3 weeks since delivery and the car is already looking pale to us. This colour is indeed high maintenance as everyone had warned.

I have been their client since nearly 5 years now and have observed that he has done a great job with maintaining his team. The team really go out of their way for loyal clients.
Here is a 'Tip' for Kamyo users: Tip the boys well, they work hard and will always put in that extra effort for not only generous but also passionate clients.

Last sunday got my Honda City done with Kamyo. Here is my experience with them.

Full interior and exterior package bought for Rs. 6000/-

Interior Cleaning: Excellent (exceptional cleaning in the interiors, pleasant smelling cabin, they removed the spare wheel and vacuumed with great detail there)

Exterior Washing: Excellent (very good detailed cleaning outside -eg monograms and grills, lots of minute black spots of tar and oil were removed, alloy wheels were also cleaned very nicely, although the engine bay was untouched)

Polishing: Average (the shine is there, but the swirl marks are clearly seen, very poor quality polishing, they are just a tad above the local polishers. The buffing material was worn out and basic rubbing compound polishing was done on the outside. In the interior, the dash polish looks good, but they shouldn't have polished my leather steering with the same material IMO. My steering feels very oily to hold)

My car has gone through various polishers viz: cheap Rs. 1250/- urban clap polisher to local Rs. 1500/- Sion-koliwada polisher, to the awful Rs. 4500/- Honda Service Center Polishing, to an expensive Rs. 20,000/- detailer in the last 2.9 years of ownership, all below average. After reading the reviews here I decided to choose one from either 3m or Kamyo and I chose Kamyo.

I might not avail their services again.

Hunt for the better detailer continues.

PS: I also did give out a decent tip to the guys as they took almost 3 hours to work on my car.
