During March this year, F-I-L got a second car, for his go arounds. The car was in a dump and we got it working on the mechanical side. The restoration that Parag and team had done on the exteriors and interiors, to get it back to the present form, is evident from the pics below:

Went to Auto Shine on 9 November, 2015 to get my bike pampered with some good detailing from a very knowledgeable and humble person Mr. Parag Mehta.
The bike is a 2012 model Honda CB Shine which has crossed 36000 km on the odometer. Earlier I used to get Teflon coating from the Honda service centre (Venetian Honda, Borivali-East), which was nothing but cheap wax coating which did not last for more than a few weeks and would leave swirl marks due to their unprofessional cleaning techniques and rough polishing head.
There were many swirl marks thanks to my bike cleaner and water marks due to the monsoon headlight cover. It was Diwali time so thought of getting the bike detailed .


The bike was washed with diesel at a nearby shop and it looked like this


Now it looks like this (pardon the dust since the photos were taken after 2 days)


Extra detailing with the help of small polisher above the front mudguard top and around the Honda logo was quite remarkable.




The entire bike looks like new except the cylinder block because of the peeled paint. Next time will request to do something for that also (for example: spray some fibre and spread with brush)

I’m quite satisfied with my Rs 700 and 2 hours spent at their shop. As told by him this treatment lasts for 4 months. Will see and update how well it lasts against my bike cleaner.

Great way to spend the time and money. Am one of those guys who buy stuff and maintain it to the T. Am really pleased how your steed looks. I do my own polishing once a month. But it doesnt come out very preofessional (at the edges/ where metal meets plastics/near the corners of badges etc.) nonetheless my machines look neat and clean
