Could not find a better thread to picked this one.

I have an old Honda Activa scooter. Recently it has a strange problem at certain times it wont start no matter what you do.
Kicker is fine, battery is fine, Spark plug is fine (according to the mechanic)
After about 2 hrs, you re-try and it starts perfectly multiple times.

The local mechanic said could be some problem with the starter coil and he changed it. However this problem still remains.

Sample case. [ All on the same day]

• 9am - Started first attempt with the button press
  Went for a short errand and returned, parked it in the basement

• 10am - Wont start , both via button press and kicker
  tried manytimes and left it.
  Note:
  - The battery is fine , as the button start cranks it fine , but engine wont fire up.
  - It did not get wet in the rain or parked in the rain.
  

• 11am - Starts first attempt with the button press.
  stopped and retried again perfect start

This problem randomly happens like 2-3 times a month.
Any idea what could be the issue ?
