From a Layman perspective, I dont think there is any constant threat as the pillion seat is quite high and there is a top chain cover immediately next to the Foot Rest.

But in case the bike skids and falls on the left side during motion, and the leg comes in contact to the chain when its still moving then it might be a problem.

Wouldn't the saree guard prove to be helpful then? I mean I know it looks awful and all but just trying to see if it may actually be useful.

Just look at the striking similarity; One costs 2L and the other costs 20L!

Re: Honda's 250cc Bike : CBR250R!

wow! what a sight this morning on the BETL - two Ninja 250s (black and green), but the best one was the black baby ceeber!! couldn't recognise the headlights are first in my RVM, but then it dawned on me!!

IMO, the baby ceeber looks much better than the Ninja in the flesh!

btw, was it any of our BHPians riding that black beauty?

I had been there with a friend to book the bike (eventually booked one in Goa - picked up by a friend now). I had some questions around delivery and how they manage it. I threw out some loopholes in what the sales guy was saying. He started yelling. I complained. Others joined him and left all other customers to fight with us.

I demanded a Customer Feedback Form. They were reluctant initially but later agreed as I wasn't moving my ground. They got the form. I wrote down a hard hitting message. I said I want a copy of it. They said ok and took the form. But no copy was given. I demanded they said we cannot give copy. So everyone knows what happens to the feedback form.

They are UNETHICAL and act like rowdies. Imagine what will happen after you are a customer.

Another thing, one of my friends who went for a test ride there later was given a customers bike for a test ride. So figure.

Oh,Ok! I forgot, as I went to them for a TD when the Unicorn was launched. They were quite decent chaps then, no idea about the current status!

They are pretty OK even now but they are not at all aware of the bike (CBR 250) specs. And they are honest enough to admit that they do not have the necessary information. We got our Honda Dio from them and it was a very pleasant experience.

Haiku is on Old Airport road

Instead of Haiku take a 3k ride to St marks road to City Honda. They have a friendly sales guy dedicated for CBR bookings and a decent condition test vehicle.

True, I had been to City honda, The guy who came with me for TD was decent enough to explain about bike and had patience to bear with my riding attitude with TD vehicle and go for an extra mile even if it was drizzling rain.

My experiences with Honda in bangalore for 1 to 10 or negative

Haiku Honda -> -3 (first visit and they were arogant to explain abt bike)
Saphire Honda -> -10 (most attitude people i have seen, never go there)
City Honda -> +7 (decent guys)
Planet Honda -> +2 (that was ok)

And that was crazy, i had called Haiku honda to check whats the number of delivery for CBR in this month, he said they delivered only 3 bikes in july, In that way i would get my bike (currently its 16 and am 129) in september 2016

+10 to that. Its disgusting how the sales person behaved when I went there . Even a vegetable vendor will have more sales talent and appropriate attitude .After 10 minutes I just stormed out with out even saying a word .Honda ,Not worth ! ,just imagining the after sales .

Got a call from planet Honda , I was excited that my bike is ready just a month. Ashada (month in hindu calendar) helped me get my bike real quick, many have said they would pay for it after 1st aug.
Did a quick PDI looks fine. Attached few snaps of it.
Best part was planet Honda could deliver ABS version with in a month.
Sales lady was decent enough and patience to show my bike.

Overall Planet Honda was a better place in terms of sales and honestly she was referring basaweshwara nagar service staion to be preferred rather than pointing themselves as best.
